no lol if it takes way less than a minute to do this and the vid is 2+ mins then it helps out - most people sit thru the short ones anyways

if you use edgentweaks and use the auto advance feature you can just let edgenuity run in the background and play a game or something.

THE SKIP VIDEO CHEAT

This little hack is how to skip long videos in Edgenuity so you can get right to answering the unit tests (Thanks to StevenW for submitting this).  Just follow these steps:

1. Start the video and begin watching it as normal

2. Press the pause button

3. Disconnect – then reconnect your wifi

4. Refresh the page with the video

5. Drag the marker all the way to the end of the video so it ends in a few seconds

And voila! You just saved 10 minutes of your life.  Now you can just enter the answers from our database into the cumulative exam and you are already done.

I figured out how to skip any video in Edgenuity as longs as it is in the video player format. You must be in google chrome. I will update this with other web browsers that work.

1. Right click on the video.

2. Hit "Show Controls"

3. In the bottom right hand corner above the edgenuity tool bar there is a full screen button. Click it

4. While in full screen you can drag the video to any time you want.

5. Drag it to a couple seconds before it is over. DO NOT drag it all the way.

6. Exit out of full screen.

7. Enjoy!

I'll just get straight to the point. I finished Edgenuity about half a year ago and found this method in early 2019 and it always worked like a charm. I have read again and again that there's no way around these videos, but that just isn't true.

1. Start the video and make sure it plays, even if only for a second.

2. Staying logged into Edgenuity, click the home button in the top left.

3. Do any other work within Edgenuity for however long the duration of the video was. Or don't. What mattered seemed to be that you were still logged in.

3.1) For example, if you have a 15 minute video, do other work for at least 15 minutes, I always just wait an extra few just to be sure.

4) Return to the video. If you did it right, the progress bar will looked glitched, with it being all orange indicating that you've watched it, but the current-time icon will be at the beginning, as though you just started the video. The play/pause icon should also show it paused.

5) Start the video and skip straight to the end. It works.

This worked for me each and every time.

Also this technique is basically useless if you have no other classes/assignments to work on while waiting for the video to "play" in the background. For the rest of us with multiple classes/non-chronological progression available, this is a serious time saver.

And In the extremely unlikely case that they've patched this, please do let me know. Otherwise, you're welcome.
