Well, it worked for a Kool-Aid stain, so maybe? I found this out accidentally, after my toddler spilled some Kool-Aid on the carpet, and a few days later, emptied out a box of baby wipes. She'd been sitting on a pile of baby wipes that had landed on the Kool-Aid stain, and to my shock, the baby wipes sucked up the stain somehow.

If you don't have a toddler to sit on the baby wipes, maybe a big fat book or something heavy? Also, I'd try this in a corner or under some furniture first where it won't show in case it screws up the color of your carpet.

How to get ash out of carpet Reddit

level 1

if its just ash there is nothing to worry about. Most apartment complexes will charge you for a carpet cleaning no matter what. I would vacuum well and they will have someone come clean it. Now if the carpet is burned theres pretty much nothing to do other then put in new carpet..

level 2

its not burned, its not really noticeable and if my land lord were to ask i'm probably going to say its just from peoples shoes. a hard vacuuming got a lot of it out but im just nervous :x

level 1

magic sponge somehow saved my white cabinets from my past 7 years of hair dye, every colour. try it on the carpet too, after a swell vaccuum. stains happen though, usually nobody thinks twice or after a stanley steemer visit it comes out. cheers xx
