The Kidnapper is the secondary antagonist in the horror games Welcome to the Game and Scrutinized. He is a criminal who attempts to track the player, who is looking for a Red Room on the Deep Web, and breaks into their house to kidnap them. It is unknown what exactly he does after kidnapping them, but players speculate that he ironically takes them to a Red Room. His presence is warned by a Wi-Fi indicator at the top right of the player's computer screen. The player must imminently turn off all lights and the computer, and should not move upon seeing this signal, until he is certainly gone. Background noises like furniture moving also serve as sound cues that he might be investigating the house. He was voiced by Dmitry Alehin. AppearanceThe Kidnapper speaks in a Russian accent, and wears pitch-black clothing, including a ski-mask, a t-shirt, cargo-pants, and fingerless gloves. He also has a massive tattoo on one of his arms. In Scrutinized, he is revealed to be a bald man in his 30s or 40s. Quotes

Welcome to the Game
Kidnapper help!!! I know several of the kidnapper mechanics such as the Location Services icon next to the WiFi icon, the noises picked up by your microphone and some sounds (?), but when I turn off the lights and see the guy walk past the window, even when my mic is plugged out and I'm not moving my mouse, he still jumps in the window... What to do? Showing 1-13 of 13 comments
honestly, the best thing to do is to immediately go to the power button icon and choose to save and quit. You'll get sent to the main menu, and when you hit continue the game will have gone forward one day. It's better to lose one day of progress than all of it
is there any other way to do it legit? kinda want to play the game how it's meant to be ya see
bump!! anyone who completed the game??
As long as all of your mics are unplugged, and you are doing what you say, there should be no problem
i got some go fast thats it 2 day and i have 3 codes :) hardeast part is the chosen awaike puzzle
Wait... can you actually SEE him climb in through the window?!
I saw the tracking icon so I turned my lights off and it's now been 40+ mins and I can still hear the kidnapper. What should I do? I currently have my lights off as I'm writing this so please reply fast if you know how to fix because I have 7 codes If no-one replies soon I'll turn my lights back on and hope the sounds are just a glitch.... Wait until he talks again.
You need to wait for him to talk and walk past, wait again for him to finish walking, wait for a moment more and he will talk again. Then wait another 10 seconds before turning on the lights to be safe. Also keep in mind, location services doesn't always work.

You only have 30 in-game days to do so.
How do you avoid the breather in Welcome to the Game 1?Hold/click the doorknob until he gives up. Might take a while, though. This game is heavily based around sound, like FNAF. Best of luck.
Should you answer the phone in welcome to the game?Gameplay. The Phone is only used for the Breather, who can call the player to alert them about his desire to kill them. The player is unable to give a response (presumably, this would compromise their safety), though they can choose to accept the call or leave it ringing. However, leaving it ringing is risky.
Why do you get assassinated in Welcome to the Game 2?Failing to hide from Lucas will end in Clint getting shot, thus an "Assassinated" Game Over. This will also happen if the player looks through the door's peek-hole while Lucas is approaching the door. If he's in the middle of lock picking, they can catch a glimpse of him.
