I like the half of you double so much that you must earn it, or the double!

Every Time I host a game my friend gets this error:

Error: the game session is no longer available

And vice versa

I host the game by going on Host Online Then
I change the session to nazi zombies
I rename the game
I leave the other options default and I press ok
I then invite my friend and he get the aforementioned error and vice versa.

We both use the disc version of [email protected]

So I recently just picked up WaW because I wanted to play some custom zombie maps, but there seems to be a problem. I'm trying to play with my friend and I cannot join him, nor can he join me, it keeps saying that the session is "no longer available" and I'm honestly confused. I tried looking up how to fix this problem, watching various videos making many attempts, but nothing seemed to work. I'm not sure what to do, if someone could help me out with this I'd genuinely appreciate it (and for any moderators looking at this post and are suspicious because you have seen a similar post, this isn't a troll account, I just made a new Reddit account so I decided to repost it to see the responses).

i need help fixing the game session is no longer available because every time me and my friend try to invite eachother to custom zombies that keeps popping up. we tried finding another host and when me and my friend try to connect to that host the same thing keeps popping up we both tried resetting our routers and turned off the computers and closed waw and open it back up none of those things help.

we dont know if its the internet provider or what and we are kind of new to custom zombies so please help us!!!! nope1

I too suffer from this problem, and apparently it is related to NAT compatibility, what is strange however is that both I and my friend (he's Nosfrat, and was banned but you will find some of his posts around here eventually) have open NAT, reasonably fast unfirewalled connections, but it's a roll of the dice -- sometimes I can join him and he can't join me, or the other way around, rarely with both of us unable to play together without resetting our routers, this is a very retarded problem, actually. Might be related to the fact that despite my connection being extreme and his good, i'm in Brazil and he is in France, so it might be related to international connections but I don't see why is that or why that would happen, at all.

If you bought the game(hopefully) then you should be able to join instantly through internet, which I never had a problem with. I too had this problem and it was because I had a cracked version so I had to try to connect via LAN.So If youdid not buy the game and you are trying to connect through LAN then you have to get Tunngle and register. Then once you both have it then you can play w/ each other. Also you should disable firewall and make Tunngle at the top of the priority list for connections.

From What i Have Gathered, When People Are Port Forwarded and There ISP Has Not Put Restrictions, EVERYONE, Can Join Them and Connect, Although Some Games Do Have Nat Requirements That Others Do Not Need. As Well, Restarting Your Router Always Helps For Reasons, I Do Not Know, Sometimes Even Just The Game Works, But Usually For When You have Left It On For Too Long.

Anyway Hope This Helps.

I Have A 200Kilobyte Connection and I Can Play Properly With Americans, and I Live In South Africa, It Is The Router Settings and Your ISP, xP  beats3

pft i'm so srsly i'm active enough so you know not to snob me, 100/15 Mbps (13 MB/s down, 2 MB/s up in megabytes) connections suck a*s as of late indeed, you wish you had something a tenth as fast as this, i'll be fair I don't get full bandwidth because i'm on wifi for an indefinite time until my dad decides to be assed letting us go on the roof and wire a proper cable up here, but it's still more than plenty of bandwidth:

@Geek008 Okay I don't really want to apologize to you but I guess I have to. But for the record, I think I have to know SOMETHING. Or else I wouldn't know how to do anything on a computer. So yeah but I'm Sorry! It's just that whenever I'm just trying to help someone out I ALWAYS get someone quoting me saying how stupid and wrong I am when I'm just trying to help someone with a problem.
