Will a Ryzen 5 5600G bottleneck a 3060ti?

Q: Is a 3060 TI bottleneck with Ryzen 5 5600x?

A Ryzen 5600x shouldnt bottleneck a 3060 or a 3060ti. 6 cores should be more than enough though if youre still worried a ryzen 7 3700x is a good upgrade.

Hey guys, just as title says. If so, I want to know how much of a difference it will make going from Ryzen 5 5600X to Ryzen 7 5800X.

The 5600X fully saturates a 3060Ti, and, faster CPUs gain nothing to almost nothing in FPS when both are compared using that particular GPU....

(Below shows a 5600 compared to 12400, but, you can easily see the lack of appreciable scaling with a 3060 Ti)

Every system on the planet has a "bottleneck" somewhere.
Every single one.

The Ry 7 5800X is more powerful than the 5600X.
"How much of a difference" is unknowable. It varies between games and applications.

5600x is pretty much top marks for gaming only in terms of price to performance. i5-12600K is a comparable match.

If you absolutely wanted to squeeze the most out the AM4 platform, grab an R7-5800X3D.

More cores only helps in certain game titles that can use all the CPU resources you can provide. Recent Battlefield titles are the standouts.

I have:
Ryzen 5 5600X
3060 ti 8GB
32gb 3600mhz ram
850W Gold+ PSU
1TB SSD, 2TB HDD

Not sure if MOBO matters but I have MSI 550-A PRO

As for peripherals I have a 165hz 2560X1440p IPS panel.

The 5600G is basically a Ryzen 5 5600x but with an iGPU. You can look at benchmarks and YouTube videos online for reference. It performs great with an RTX 3060.
