When can you order a 2022 Honda Talon?

Hi guys, well my local honda dealer here in oregon. Just received a memo from honda, they have moved up the release date again, on the 2022 honda talons till may, don't know much more then that.

Hummmm Will be time for them to be 2023'S soon... I read A post elsewhere that they were thinking about skipping the 2022 year...

Spoke with the dealer I have deposit with and was informed date was pushed back again to April 29 and no word yet....Kawasaki I'm sure is very grateful for Honda's lack of info. Had 2 friends get Kaw's instead of the Talon....I test drove the Kawasaki and well its a pretty sweet ride. My only con's were the noise because running higher Rpm's and could'nt find the paddles to shift up "none" and its a big unit for sure. I sure miss my 19 Talon hind site I should have secured new one before selling my exsisting....

No release date yet, they are not releasing a 2022 model FYI. We will have to wait to see if they will release a 2023. If you are waiting, I would just buy a 2021 new model.

That will not happen, you can’t get one in TX they are sold when they hit the ground. Also they are talking about the 2023.

Now the big questions.....

1.) Will the parts for the gauge pod relocation on the 2022 work for the 2019 thru 2021 models? Looks to be an enclosure of some type around the old style pod.

2.) Will the blue color gauge pod work for the 2019 thru 2021? I think the yellow looks cheesy! I would prefer blue.

Release date is late June or sometime in July. I reserved a Talon 1000R and my dealership just called me and told me that the Honda representative was at the dealership and they placed a order. But Honda is limiting what dealerships can order. I was told mine that I put a down payment on is suppose to arrive in July.

Same thing for me, was told the end of June or first of July, I Reserved Talon 1000x-4 live valve and put $500 down on it.
