Boss's vibrant art has a gently cartoonified, design-centered appeal, similar to stylish superhero artists like David Aja and Chris Samnee, with offbeat abandoned cities, seedy exurban ruins refurbished Mad Max style, and arresting set pieces like a
nightmarish carnival.
