What time does money in the bank begin?

WWE will return to pay-per-view (PPV), Peacock, and WWE Network later on tonight (Sat., July 2, 2022) with its annual Money in the Bank showcase, emanating from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

The event will get rolling at the start time of 7 pm ET with the free Kickoff show, which runs for one hour on YouTube, WWE.com, and various other social media outlets. That leads right on into the PPV at 8 pm ET, which you can stream from a number of devices if you have a subscription to Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.

Here’s the card for the show, at least as of this writing:

   WWE had plans to try and elevate the Money In The Bank PPV to stadium status alongside the likes of Wrestlemania and SummerSlam.

   And they originally scheduled the event to be taking place at the 65,000-seat Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium.

   But it was moved to a smaller venue with the Nevada state also hosting UFC 276 and International Fight Week.

   Speaking to The Spinnin Backfist MMA Show, UFC president Dana White said: “To be fair to the WWE, they were probably looking at it and their ticket prices were a lot cheaper and there would be a lot of people in town.

   “International Fight Week is a rough week to do it.”

   This year’s PPV event will take place on Sunday, July 3 and is being held at the 17,000-seat MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

   The card will begin from 12am on Sunday morning in the UK and continue into the early hours – the main show will start at 1am.

   Sasha Banks will not be involved after she was reportedly released by WWE earlier this week.

   ‘The Boss’ had not been seen or heard from since she was indefinitely suspended from WWE for walking out of an episode of Monday Night Raw.

   The main event will be shown on pay-per-view TV in the UK and is on BT Sport Box Office – coverage will begin at 1am.

   Former UFC bantamweight champion Rousey has revealed that she is open to the idea of an MMA comeback – but only for one fight.
