For assistance installing the IM5D:
Why is my GE French door refrigerator not making ice?The icemaker must reach a temperature of 16 degrees F before a cycle will begin. If the temperature in the freezer is too warm, ice cubes will take longer to form or may not form at all. Try adjusting the freezer temperature a little lower. A low food load in the freezer can affect the production of ice.
How do I make my GE refrigerator ice maker work?GE recommends a refrigerator temperature of 37 degrees Fahrenheit and a freezer temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The ice maker must reach a temperature of 16 degrees Fahrenheit for a cycle to begin. Checking and adjusting the refrigerator and/or freezer temperature may get the ice maker working again.
