How to Free Play Lego Star Wars Force Awakens

There's a plethora of content (from all nine mainline Star Wars films) in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for gamers to explore and unlock. With 45 main missions spread across nine Episodes and a Galaxy Free Play mode, the sky's the limit. Some gamers, however, might be wondering how they can unlock the Galaxy Free Play mode in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to freely explore the host of planets and areas.

In this guide, we provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to fully unlock the Galaxy Free Play mode and the suggested route to take via a full Episode list.

Unlock Galaxy Free Play in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Free Play Mode is one of the two (three in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga) available modes to play a normal level as, the other two being Story Mode and Challenge Mode. Once you complete a level fully in Story Mode, you can then play it again in Free Play Mode and, in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Challenge Mode. Free Play stays true to its name; you are given a large roster of characters and can pick one or two of them. You are given at least one character for each ability. This is because one of the main purposes of Free Play Mode is to finish collecting collectibles such as Minikits or Power Bricks. Also, Free Play Mode removes the cutscenes that appear during Story Mode (unless you're playing LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7). In LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, vehicle levels could not be done in Free Play Mode, as there were only a few vehicles to choose from and all the collectibles could be grabbed in Story Mode. And in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, Free Play Mode was the only mode that could be played to earn a normal level's True Jedi Status for Free Play Mode.

Depending on the platform you are playing on, there are different ways to get to the character grid. For Xbox One, press and hold Y, PS4 press and hold Triangle, and (i'm sorry, I don't know what the button is on PC :( ) the character wheel will come up. From there you can access the character grid to select the whole cast.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the sixth installment of the Lego Star Wars video game series, was released on April 5 for multiple platforms such as Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, and has become an instant hit.

This action-adventure game allows players to play with their favorite characters from Star Wars movies and explore its universe. There’s a game mode named Galaxy Free Play, where players can explore the entire galaxy and visit each planet. This mode, however, is not available right from the get-go.

To unlock Galaxy Free Play in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, players need to complete at least one of nine Star Wars episodes. The first episodes that are available are I, IV, and VII, the same episodes that mark the beginning of the three Star Wars trilogies. After you complete one of these episodes, Galaxy Free Play will be available.

The way to access the Galaxy Free Play mode is via the main menu screen before selecting which episode you want to play or from your holoprojector. Although this free roam mode becomes available right after you finish an episode, its content will not be entirely available.

To fully unlock Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga‘s Galaxy Free Play, you need to complete all nine episodes and the 45 main missions. This way, you’ll have access to all planets and locations.

First off, we want to talk about a little bonus level you should make yourself familiar with. Through it, you can farm ridiculous amounts of studs to purchase red bricks if you ever find you're running low. Once you've activated the red brick multipliers, the stud count in this level gets even more crazy. I'd recommend farming your way to purchasing the Stud Multiplier x2 Red Brick (1,000,000) as soon as you can, in order to pretty much guarantee True Jedi in all levels during your Minikit runs. Regardless, you should complete the Minigame at least once as you'll earn a Gold Brick.

Bonus Level - Dejarik Battle Minigame

Location: Millennium Falcon, games table opposite the Galaxy Map.
Unlock Requirements: Complete the main story (including Luke's Island).

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***This is really straightforward. Smash up everything that comes at you and then suck up the studs that appear at the end of the wave. The key to efficient farming here is to save your charged upattack for the end of the wave, when there will be a boss with a health bar. The charged up attack should take them out with one hit. You want your attack multiplier to be on 4x as much as possible when the studs start falling so you maximise the stud value. The last wave (once you've taken out the Rancor) will leave you with a giant gold stud to smash, again make sure you do this nice and quick to keep your combat multiplier high.

You'll likely farm upwards of 500,000 studs even from the 'Story Mode' version of Dejarik Battle. The real money-spinner comes when you return to it in Free Play and can select BB-8. Smack everything about with your second character and then have BB-8 zip around the map once the studs start falling. You'll be rich in no time, so grab that Studs x2 Red Brick as soon as you can.

When working through each level below in Free Play to get Red Bricks and Minikits, you should aim to mop up any remaining True Jedi awards as well by collecting as many studs as you can. It'll save coming back to them later. Once you've unlocked most Red Brick Score Multipliers, you'll get True Jedi almost immediately on most levels.

Most levels, if they're long enough, are broken down into checkpoints in Free Play, meaning you can jump in at different points in the level. This is useful if you've already cleared all Minikits from one section (it'll show you the counter for each section when selecting a checkpoint), and want to skip ahead. It's also useful if you're specifically going for the Red Brick, as it'll show you which section it's hiding in.

Consider getting yourself the Collectible Detector Red Brick early on. It's available from the beginning, as long as you have 500,000 studs to spend. It'll point out any Collectibles on the map with an arrow. Between that and my guide you shouldn't have any trouble finding anything. It'll also help immensely when tracking down Gold and Carbonite Bricks in the Hub Worlds (see next page).

You should also make sure you've completed the Story Mode of "Poe to the Rescue" on the previous page before you get stuck into Minikit collection, as many of them require an aquatic character. Admiral Ackbar is unlocked at the end of the "Poe to the Rescue" Story.

Free Play Prologue - Battle of Endor

Location: Endor
Red Brick: Stud Magnet (you may have already got this in the Story)
Special Skills Required: Ackbar Pool, Force (Light and Dark), Commander, BB-8, Thermal, Small

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Endor Shield Generator

Minikit 1 - When you defeat the initial waves of troopers, multi-build right and jump up to the Minikit.

Red Brick - When priming the two big logs to smash the first AT-ST, smash up the objects on the left and rather than multi-build a ladder up to the pull handles (as in the story), multi-build a climbing frame over to the left. Hop up and follow the path around to the right to grab the Red Brick in plain sight.

Minikit 2 - Right after the Blaster Battle, use a Jedi character to Force-pull the object (bee hive?) off the tree on the left.

Minikit 3 - After destroying the AT-ST walker by pushing a pile of logs at it, multi-build the debris forward (up on the left stick) and hop on. Second character should get on the lift button, allowing you to climb up.

Minikit 4 - You'll need Admiral Ackbar (or the tentacle-headed Jedi, if you have the bonus character pack). Just after the above minikit, once you've climbed up to the left there's a small pool (henceforth referred to as an Ackbar pool) you should jump in. Build the debris into a bomb, then walk into the hole in the tree that appears. In the revealed area, smash up the bundle of logs in the centre-foreground to build some drums. Smash up the spit-roast to the right of it to build a didgeridoo thing, and finally smash the big drum and stand on the far right to rebuild... some kind of instrument. Once the three Ewoks are playing, you'll get a kit to build.

Minikit 5 - After the AT-ST walking sequence, when you get to the bunker stay in the walker and shoot three piles of gold rocks - one on top of the bunker, one to the right of it and one in the very bottom left corner of this area, in the foreground.

Minikit 6 - Get a commander character (such as General Leia, Wicket, Ackbar or JJ Abrams) and head into the foreground of this area. There should be three rebel troops to command. Take them over to the crashed AT-ST on the right with four pull handles on it. Pull the side open and grab the Minikit.

Checkpoint 2 - Death Star Throne Room

Minikit 7 - Get a character with thermal detonators to throw one at the silver object on the right side of the first area. Build a BB-8 pad and get BB-8 on it. Get through the little side-scrolling mini-game by dodging the big red squares.

Minikit 8 - In the second area, approach the fuel cell thing at the back left, which you have to throw at the Emperor to progress the story. In the very left corner there is an area that can be affected by Dark Force (you might need to Force-move the fuel cell and score a hit point on the Emperor before you can do it). Enter the revealed small grate. Head right along the gangway.

Checkpoint 3 - Death Star Attack

Minikit 9 - Hit five of the towers shooting green lasers at you (they are dark coloured with little spots of green all over them). You must hit five before you enter the Death Star interior.

Minikit 10 - In the final area, once you have destroyed the metal housing around the Death Star core, there are three pipe structures above the purple cores, right at the top of the screen. Shoot all three.

If you got all the Minikits, you'll get:

This can be a little glitchy, but it seems to be dependent on whether you play through the whole level, start at a later checkpoint or quit out early once you have all 10 (though none of these methods are consistently glitched). If you miss this because you played from a checkpoint on your final Minikit run, you'll pick this up naturally during the Epilogue or some of the bonus levels, because the levels are too small to be split into checkpoints. It's not a missable achievement, just a weird requirement.

Free Play Chapter 1 - Assault on Jakku

Location: Jakku
Red Brick: Fast Build
Special Skills Required: BB-8, Thermal, Force, Gold Object Breaker, Ackbar, Resistance

If you've been following along in order so far, you won't have gotten through the Story modes of the New Star Wars adventures yet, and so won't have a character unlocked which can destroy Gold Lego objects. You can purchase one for 100,000 now (Guavian Gunner), or purchase the Flametrooper for 125,000 to ensure you can destroy gold bricks AND melt ice for later Minikits. Or skip this Red Brick until you have finished Trouble Over Taul and unlocked Captain Phasma.

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Village Retreat

Minikit 1 - Three parts to this one. Part 1: Head to the left side and blow up the silver object with a thermal. Rebuild the debris into a basketball net and a BB-8 jump pad. Send BB-8 through the hoop. Part 2: Head a little right and you'll see some bowling pins set up to the right of the starting hut. Smash them all. Part 3: Head as far right as you can go and destroy the debris in the foreground of the fenced-off area (with a soccer goalpost at the back). Rebuild to make a BB-8 switch. Use it to release a soccer ball - walk the ball into the goal.

Minikit 2 - 3 parts again. You'll need to smash and rebuild the small pile next to the bowling pins to make a box in which the residents can hide. There are two more - one is between the BB-8 jump pad we made for Minikit 1 and the central circular structure. The final one is right up in the foreground to the right of the central circular structure.

Minkit 3 - As with Story Mode, you'll need to get into the right-hand hut to get the weapons droid reconstructed. You can also smash up the minikit-looking debris by the foreground window and rebuild into - guess what? - a Minikit.

Red Brick - There's a puzzled looking lady in blue just to the left of the soccer area. Destroy the boxes in front of her and rebuild into a target dummy. Once she shoots it rebuild to the other spot. She'll shoot it again and a red brick will appear on the awning. You can get to it by jumping on the pile of plates on the right of the awning.

Checkpoint 2 - First Order Assault

Minikit 4 - Throughout this section you'll find three silver towers that you'll need to destroy with a thermal. The first is right at the beginning before you get to the Blaster Battle. The final two are easily spotted to the right of the Flametroopers after you have removed both transport ships blocking your path.

Minikit 5 - After the Blaster Battle and after pulling down the water tower to douse the fire, pick up the water tower with a Force character. Parts for a Minikit will drop out.

Minikit 6 - This is almost impossible to work out unless you get it by accident. Head back right from the above Minikit until you get to a small fire in the fence on the right. Over in the distance is a hut you can't reach on foot, but there's a stormtrooper hanging out in there. Shoot him once to release his prisoner and get a Minikit. See the below screenshot.

How to Free Play Lego Star Wars Force Awakens

Minikit 7 - Past where you doused the fire, there is another ship blocking your way. To the left a second ship arrives with more troopers, and in the very bottom-left corner is a crate. Smash it and build a BB-8 switch on the second ship. Use it to open the ship's door and head in for a Minikit.

Minikit 8 - In the next area with the Flametroopers, there's a shining gold crate to the left of the first fire-thrower. Use a character that can destroy gold objects to obtain a Minikit.

Minikit 9 - In the same area, head all the way to the left to an Ackbar pool. Jump in as Ackbar and smash the green crate, which you can rebuild into a Resistance terminal. Solve the code puzzle to unlock the safe and grab a Minikit.

Minikit 10 - Same area again. Grab the strength handles to the right of the Ackbar pool. The Minikit is behind them. If you're one Minikit short, did you remember the last two silver towers for Minikit 1? They're both in this area too, to the right of the Flametroopers.

If you've been following along, you will now have 20 Gold Bricks and be able to go back and complete the Story Mode for "Lor San Tekka's Return", if you want.

Free Play Chapter 2 - Escape from the Finalizer

Location: Jakku
Red Brick: Fast Interact
Special Skills Required: Dark Force, BB-8

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Finalizer Hangar

Minikit 1 - Right at the start, use a Dark Force character on the red and black box to the left in the foreground. Head through the long corridor in the back and use Dark Force on the hanging gold droid. Build yourself a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - In the exact same corridor, manipulate both sets of red and black bricks to break them and build the result into a chair... thing... which will eventually spawn a Minikit.

Minikit 3 - Back in the main area, throughout the rest of this section you will need to shoot four little sentry droids (white triangles with blue lights, whizzing around on the floor). The first is down the first set of stairs before you start pushing the big blocks around. The second is up top next to the gold protocol droid terminal. The third is in the Control Room, and the fourth is in the middle of the Blaster Battle. You can either get it at the first point of cover (while the heavy gunner is spraying bullets around) or at the second cover point while the shielded gunner is attacking you. Don't forget about it before you finish this section!

Red Brick - You may have already picked this up in the Story Mode. While you are solving the puzzle to get into the control room, you can multi-build the central debris upwards to make a bridge to the brick, which is clearly visible under the Control Room.

Checkpoint 2 - Star Destroyer Exterior

Minikit 4 - As you probably noticed during your Story Mode run, while you only need to hit 10 turrets to continue, the counter when you hit each turret says "X/30". You need to find and blow up all the turrets. I won't point out every single one, but you need to check the top, the underside and the two covered sides to find them all.

Minikit 5 - Under the top layer of the Star Destroyer, in the centre, is a Race flag. pass through it to initiate the race (you should enter the Race flag from the Destroyer's right side (your left side, from the start of the checkpoint) so that you're pointing the right way for the first checkpoint. It doesn't matter too much as you have loads of time to pass through all the checkpoints.

Minikit 6 - After you have destroyed 10 turrets for Minikit 1, "Special" TIE fighters will turn up (the ones with pink torpedoes behind them). Take out 5 of these.

Checkpoint 3 - Jakku Graveyard

Minikit 7 - After the sand-boarding bit, As a Dark Force character head left of the mechanical beast and remove the red and black bricks. Head down into this short corridor to get the Minikit.

Minikit 8 - Once inside the large structure, head all the way over to the right and climb on the bars on the wall. Shimmy further right to get the Minikit.

Minikit 9 - On the upper floor, use a character with a Lightsaber to cut the dotted line.

Minikit 10 - In the final section before you exit, break the crates and build the BB-8 pad to the left. BB-8 will be shot up into an overhanging tube. Roll around to the far end to get the final Minikit.

Free Play Chapter 3 - Niima Outpost

Location: Jakku
Red Brick: Studs x8
Special Skills Required: Thermal, BB-8, Strong, Force, Ackbar

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Niima Outpost

Red Brick - At the first multi-build puzzle (before you slide down the dune into the lower second area), look beyond the fence to the left of the crashed white ship. See the shining metal object beyond the fence? Throw a thermal at it. An NPC will come along and build a rocket out of the debris, shoot off and crash beyond a far dune. Eventually a red brick from the explosion will be ferried to you by a drone, just wait where you are and collect it when the drone collapses into bits.

Minikit 1 - Once you have slid down to the lower area, you will find the first of three hopping bird-things perched on rocks to destroy above the scaffolding, near where the troopers are playing volleyball in the background. Shoot it for 1 of 3. The second rock you need to hit is in the upper section directly above the grate a small character would use to get up here. The third can be found later once you have used the turret to make a bridge - you can see it off in the background beyond the bridge, where two troopers are sunbathing.

Minikit 2 - In the top area where you got the second bird for Minikit 1, get the conveyor belt running and then run on it like a treadmill, eventually earning a Minikit.

Minikit 3 - Once you have used one of the big beasties to smash through to the final area of this section (but BEFORE you smash through the second wall in the background, leading to the next section), ride it up to the box with another smash point on its side, in the right-hand area, to get a Minikit.

Minikit 4 - Use a Force-wielding character to extract three droids from their burial in the sand in this same right-hand area. Two are in front of the yellow-armed big alien dude in the back, and one is to his left past his pile of assorted droid junk. He'll reward you with a Minikit once all three are on his pile.

Checkpoint 2 - Niima Bombardment

Minikit 5 - As per Story Mode, start by making a turret to destroy the gold blocks to the left and send the First Order transporter packing. Make sure you destroy the other gold blocks too and then head to the area behind where the ship was parked. Use a strong character to pull the handles on the crate and grab the Minikit.

Minikit 6 - Get all the way through the big Blaster Battle and then head back to the beginning of the Battle area, and head towards the screen. You should see two silver water pipes above a dry Ackbar pool. Use a Thermal to blow the pipes and then Ackbar to grab a Minikit out of the filled pool.

Minikit 7 - Proceed until you get the little robot (SN-1F4) and then roll over to the very left-most sand pile (just right of the Blaster Battle area). He should unveil the pieces of a Minikit.

Checkpoint 3 - Jakku Graveyard Flight

Minikit 8 - You need to be sharp in this flying section. Shoot four rust-red arches in the first part to get a Minikit. One is before you fly through the cylindrical scrap, one is after, and two are in quick succession near the end of the run.

Minikit 9 - Once you're in the open, look for a grey A-shaped structure, right of your starting point, with a small cylindrical tunnel running through it. You'll be able to see a ring of Studs at one end of the tunnel. Get through it and you'll find a Minikit in the middle, in a small ring of blue studs. See the below screenshot.

How to Free Play Lego Star Wars Force Awakens

Minikit 10 - There are three fallen AT-ATs on the ground, made of gold bricks. It's pretty impossible to tell you exactly where they are, but easy enough to find once you know what you're looking for. If in doubt, just shoot everything you can destroy on the ground. See the below screenshot for an example.

Free Play Chapter 4 - The Eravana

Location: The Millennium Falcon
Red Brick: Studs x2
Special Skills Required: Gas mask, Thermal, Protocol Droid, BB-8, Dark Force, Ackbar,

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Freighter Battle

Minikit 1 - The next three Minikits are all in one secret area. Get through the initial Blaster Battle and when you're downstairs, bypass the toxic area on the left and then use the Protocol Droid terminal to access the secret area. Destroy the big crates on the leftmost edge of the area and then rebuild. Access the First Order terminal and then deal with the Rathtar using quick-time events. Grab the Minikit.

Minikit 2 - In the same area, use the resulting debris from your Rathtar fight to build a BB-8 switch, and use that to start a fan, blowing some Minikit bits to the ground.

Minikit 3 - Use the Force to lift the panel behind the last Minikit, jump on it and walk around to the right to get the last Minikit in this area, in plain sight.

Red Brick - As described in the Story Mode walkthrough, once you've completed the second half of the Blaster Battle, head right and pull on the Grapple point to the left of the big circular door. The Red Brick is behind it.

Minikit 4 - Head through the grate to the right of the same door. On the far side, use the Force on the object on the floor to the right of the BB-8 pad. It's a key, and it will slowly unlock the object on the back wall, releasing the parts for your final Minikit in this section.

Checkpoint 2 - Freighter Chase

Minikit 5 - Watch carefully for this one, as it's in the middle of the Rathtar chase and you'll have to jump for it. For some reason this can be stupidly hard if you aren't in the exact correct position. Once the action changes from running forward to running right, pushso you are as near to the back side of the corridor as possible. Look out for a blue stud in a circle of gold studs above you. The next thing to appear above you after this will be the Minikit. DON'T jump for the blue stud - it takes ages for the character to recover and jump again. Wait until you are a couple of feet before the Minikit to jump. At least the Checkpoint start is only a few seconds back if you miss this. Check my video below if needed.

Minikit 6 - In the left-foreground is an object you can use the Dark Force on. Do so to reveal an Ackbar pool. Get in there for a Minikit.

Checkpoint 3 - Freighter Shutdown

Minikit 7 - First off, you need to shoot down three Mynocks (big bats). There's one either side of the Rathtar, and then a further one hidden way up on the climbing wall to the left of this area. You won't be able to get it until you damage the Rathtar for the first time and build a BB-8 pad to get up to the second level on the left. Once up there you'll need to point your blaster way up at the top of the screen to reveal it.

Minikit 8 - While you're up here, use a Lightsaber-wielding character to cut a big circle around the fan on the left-hand wall. There's a Minikit behind it. You should also finish the story stuff up here as you'll need to attack the Rathtar again to get the last Minikit. So put a staff in the crank near the front and solve the BB-8 lock.

Minikit 9 - Back in front of the Rathtar, to its left is a gold ring object and a grey crate. Destroy these. Use a Dark Force character on the pipes behind to grab the Minikit.

Minikit 10 - Attack the Rathtar again as per the Story and solve the three-colour lock puzzle again on the right side. Construct the Crab Droid but then switch to a small character to go through the grate and get the final Minikit.

Free Play Chapter 5 - Maz's Castle

Location: Takodana
Red Brick: Studs x6
Special Skills Required: Cracked-wall Breaker, Ackbar, Jetpack, Small, BB-8, Thermal, Force

One of the Minikits requires a character with a Jetpack. If you have a Season Pass or some of the DLC, you'll likely have access to Boba Fett (Prototype) or Jango Fett for this. If not, you will unlock Athgar Heece for completing the Story Mode of 'Lor San Tekka Returns', (see previous page) or you can rescue Boba Fett from a Carbonite Block (see next page). You won't be able to access Minikits 4 or 5 without a Jetpack character.

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Castle Approach

Red Brick - Smash the cracked wall immediately to your right at the start and grab the Brick.

Minikit 1 - Smash up the debris around this first left-right path until you uncover a wave of little creatures. Kill them all, and then smash everything by the Ackbar pool to find another wave. Finally, smash all the objects on the left side of the courtyard at the back with the sleeping guard. Once you have killed 9 of the little critters you will get a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - As Ackbar, approach the pool at the end of the first path. Hop in to get the parts for a Minikit.

Minikit 3 - Follow the Story instructions until you have used the multi-build contraption to shake down the tree. Climb the stud wall behind it and access the balcony. The Minikit is in the doorway.

Minikit 4 - You need a character that can boost (jetpack) for this. From the balcony mentioned in Minikit 3, jump right and head towards the next balcony back for another Minikit.

Minikit 5 - From Minikit 4, use a small character or BB-8 to access the hatch. You'll find a Minikit on the far side.

Minikit 6 - Shoot the red button in the near-right corner of the courtyard to reveal a pile of Minikit bricks and rebuild them.

Checkpoint 2 - Castle Hall

(NONE)

Checkpoint 3 - Castle Basement

Minikit 7 - Turn straight around and head up the stairs. The Minikit is just out of sight at the top.

Minikit 8 - You need to destroy four cobwebs throughout the level. The first is at the end of the corridor, up on the ceiling to the right. The second is just after you've slid under the large door, again up on the right. Later, once you've solved the rotating-statue puzzle, cobwebs three and four are just beyond the door you open as a result. One is directly ahead, above and to the right of the silver wall. The other is just around the corner a little, to the left.

Minikit 9 - The silver wall mentioned in Minikit 8 needs to be blown up with a Thermal.

Minikit 10 - Luckily you don't need to do any of the final puzzle again to get the Minikit - just head into the area and use the force on the left-hand doorway. The Minikit is floating behind it.

Free Play Chapter 6 - Battle of Takodana

Location: Takodana
Red Brick: Destroy on Contact
Special Skills Required: Dark Force, BB-8, Ackbar, Lightsaber, Thermal, Cracked Wall Breaker, Grapple

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Castle Corridors

Minikit 1 - Immediately behind you you'll find a red locked door. Use the Dark Force on it, and then a Lightsaber on it. The Minikit is in the room beyond.

Minikit 2 - There's another locked door on the left side of the area. Use the Force to open it. Smash up the bed to get a pile of bricks, and then multi-build up to make a BB-8 pad. Roll BB-8 upwards to reveal the Minikit.

Minikit 3 - There are three sand-coloured statues throughout this section that you need to set upright using the Force. The first is in this indoor segment, on the right before you open the door with a Lightsaber. After the Blaster Battle, head back through the cover points and you'll find the second one next to the cracked Lego brick on the left. You need to sort the last one out before finishing the boss fight with the electrocuting Stormtrooper, she's sitting by a black box in front and slightly to the left of the boss.

Minikit 4 - As soon as you finish the indoor section, you'll find an Ackbar pool to your left. Jump in and grab the Minikit pieces.

Minikit 5 - Unlock the nearby hatch with a Lightsaber and send a Small character through it. Head up top and scan the large stone block resting on the corner of the stairway. It'll turn silver - blow it up with a Thermal and a Minikit will drop out.

Minikit 6 - After the Blaster Battle, crack open the wall next to the second statue you need to stand up for Minikit 3.

Minikit 7 - Back up where the Blaster Battle ended, move the big TIE fighter wing with the Force to reveal an Ackbar pool. Jump in as Ackbar and claim a Minikit.

Minikit 8 - Before you hit the final boss area, you'll see a box up on the left with two grapple points. Pull it down and build a Minikit out of the debris.

Checkpoint 2 - Takodana Skies

Red Brick - Described in Story Mode so you may already have this. Complete the first objective (Destroy 15 TIE fighters) and part of Maz's Castle will collapse, revealing a red brick in the middle of the broken tower.

Minikit 9 - Destroy four of the objects holding up the rings of studs on the water's surface.

Minikit 10 - In the third act when TIEs with torpedoes appear (NOT the target TIEs, but others drifting around), gather three and shoot down the three towers on the hills.

Free Play Chapter 7 - The Resistance

Location: D'Qar
Red Brick: Super Slap
Special Skills Required: Lightsaber, Protocol Droid, Dark Force, Flametrooper, Resistance, BB-8, Cracked Wall Breaker, Commander, Staff Wielder

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Resistance Base

Minikit 1 - Head into the foreground, down the steps. Cut open the crate on the left with a Lightsaber. Build yourself a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - Access the Resistance terminal right of the big blast doors. Use the Dark Force on the crate in the back left. Build yourself another Minikit.

Minikit 3 - After you've unlocked the cold room in the first area as per the Story Mode (using the Protocol droid terminal), use the Flametrooper (which you'll have to purchase if you haven't already) to melt the ice around the Minikit in the back. Make sure you've shut off the cold first so you can approach it.

Minikit 4 - You'll need to rebuild three different droids throughout this section. The first can be found behind the grapple point on the side of the parked ship on the left of this first area. After you've solved the puzzles to open the big blast doors, the second can be found in the next corridor by accessing the Resistance terminal. Before unlocking the next door with the three officers, smash the crate in the back left corner next to the door to find the third droid. Rebuild them all for a Minikit.

Minikit 5 - At the very end of this section, before you get BB-8 to upload the map, head to the back of the final room and use the BB-8 socket high up on the wall on the right. A Minikit will appear in the centre of the room.

Checkpoint 2 - Resistance Hangar

Red Brick - As per Story Mode, have a Protocol Droid talk to the little red alien to the left of the first barrier on the right. Take the lift up. Smash the Cracked wall and then send a small character through the grate. The Red Brick is just on the other side.

Minikit 6 - Back through the grate, where in Story Mode you would build BB-8 a pad for the big static screen on the left, instead build it a switch to the right. Use the switch to spit out some pieces of Minikit. You should also build the pad and solve the gold box puzzle as per Story Mode as we will need the left-hand barrier unlocked later.

Minikit 7 - Underneath this, access the Resistance Terminal to lower the blue barrier. There's a Minikit in plain sight behind the big green box of junk.

Minikit 8 - In the room to the right, use the Force on the mosaic to reveal a picture of Luke and the Minikit.

Minikit 9 - Back in the room you unlocked with the Resistance terminal, smash everything up and build a small ship (1/3). Complete the part of the story in which you get the red alien his ice cream to unlock the left-hand barrier. Smash up everything in there to build a second ship (2/3). On the far side of this area, get upstairs and use a Protocol droid on the terminal (as per the Story) to unlock the barrier beneath. Smash up all the boxes inside the unlocked room beneath the terminal to build the final ship (3/3).

Minikit 10 - Back up where you used the Droid Terminal for Minikit 9, use a character with a Staff to create a swing pole off to the right and launch off to get your final Minikit.

Free Play Chapter 8 - Starkiller Sabotage

Location: Starkiller Base
Red Brick: Studs x4
Special Skills Required: Grapple, Lightsaber, Small, BB-8, Force, Flametrooper, Ackbar,

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Starkiller Crash Site

Minikit 1 - Chances are that you'll already have this one, as it's hard to avoid destroying the 5 sentry droids in the section given that they are attacking you. If you need guidance: there's 2 right at the beginning, a third near the cliff where you need to pull two grapple points, a fourth on the left side of the big red barrier and the fifth on the right side, after you've ziplined over the top of the barrier.

Minikit 2 - Right at the start of the level, head left as far as you can and smash the debris to build a little bouncing pogo thing. Get on it and pound on the right-most pile of snow and build a Minikit.

Red Brick - Progress through to the big set of doors where you have to take down a bunch of First Order troops and a turret. Smash the glowing object in the foreground to the left and multi-build left to build a snowman under the pole. Jump on the snowman's hat and up to the pole. Shimmy over to the Red Brick.

Minikit 3 - Once you've ziplined to the other side of the barrier, head through the grate near the barrier generator. You'll end up underneath everything. Use a Lightsaber on the ice wall underneath the Wampa (yeti thing) to access the Minikit. Other guides have stated that you have to kill the Wampa, but it didn't attack me. Not a hard fight anyway.

Checkpoint 2 - Starkiller Wall

Minikit 4 - There are four flags to build throughout the section. The first is immediately to the left as you start - destroy the tall grey tower thing to build it. The second comes after you have got past the toxic cloud and are on the lower platform where you have to get hold of a wheel. Smash the objects on the right side and then rebuild a flag. The third is right in front of the laser barrier waiting to be built inside a little blue generator thing, while the fourth is in the final area. Smash the crate in the top right corner and build the flag.

Minikit 5 - Head right from the start and smash the two taller piles of snow at the back. Multi-build left to make a hair dryer, getting rid of two troopers and delivering you a Minikit back at the front door.

Minikit 6 - Before the final area (where you need to destroy the laser barrier), melt the ice to the right with a Flametrooper and then jump in the pool as Ackbar. You'll get the last Minikit for the section as soon as you pop out of the far side.

Checkpoint 3 - Starkiller Shield Room

Minikit 7 - First off, as soon as you start - see the water sloshing around behind that grate at the back? Use the Force on the grate to flush out a Minikit.

Minikit 8 - Head upstairs and smash the blue circle on the back wall. Multi-build left to make a BB-8 pad. Jump up to the Minikit as BB-8.

Minikit 9 - You can bypass some puzzling here by simply switching to a Stormtrooper (purchase for 50,000 studs) and using the terminal by the red barrier. In the next room, ignore the Blaster Battle for the moment and head right. Use the Force on the cable in the corner to power the right-hand door. A Minikit is inside.

Minikit 10 - I find it easier to get this one after the Blaster Battle - you need to shoot four of the little black mouse droids skittering about in this area. You may catch some during the Battle or while mopping up the remaining Troopers. No need to head into the boss battle again.

Free Play Chapter 9 - Destroy Starkiller Base

Location: Starkiller Base
Red Brick: Regenerating Hearts
Special Skills Required: Dark Force, First Order, Destroy Gold Bricks, Protocol Droid

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Assault on Starkiller

Minikit 1 - The first one is easily missed. Immediately position yourself in the bottom right corner of the screen and then count the corners. You'll turn left, then right, then left again. On the next straight you need to keep a keen eye out for the Minikit in a small stud ring towards the bottom-right side of the screen, just past a rock on the ground. It's best to avoid shooting anything in this section so there's less interference while you search. If you turn left again and pass through a narrow valley, you've gone too far. This video might help.

Minikit 2 - Head for the race marker on top of one of the pillars you need to destroy. It's a reasonably easy race, though I recommend you hold downfor the duration to keep up your speed.

Checkpoint 2 - Rey's Escape

Minikit 3 - Get up to the third platform (the one with the red barrier to the left). Smash the crate in the middle and multi-build left to deactivate the barrier and retrieve the Minikit.

Minikit 4 - Smash and rebuild up to create a ladder. On the upper platform, before making a bridge to the right, use the Force on the cable on the back wall to the left. You'll make a bridge up to a left-hand platform. Use the Dark Force to break the door and retrieve the Minikit around to the left.

Minikit 5 - Make your way over to the other side of the bridge and climb all the way up the stud wall to get the Minikit at the top.

Red Brick - Proceed all the way through until you build a white lift at the back of the level. Once you're up top, use the grapple point to the right to head further right and deal with a couple of Stormtroopers. Head further right and access the First Order terminal. A door opens to the right - defeat five waves of three Stormtroopers to get the Red Brick to appear beyond the door.

Checkpoint 3 - Oscillator Interior

Minikit 6 - Head forward, then head left and jump down. There's a grate in the wall directly beneath the stairs. Head through it for a Minikit.

Minikit 7 - You need to destroy four grey cylindrical lights. One is in this left area, further to the left and in the foreground. Another is beyond the red barrier to the left (to get there, use the Force on the dome thing in front of the barrier. Then release the green sentry droid from the cage at the back as per the Story, then send the droid into the switch uncovered by getting rid of the dome). The other two are in the foreground on the right side of the area.

Minikit 8 - In the area beyond the red barrier to the left that you used the green Sentry droid to unlock in Minikit 7, use a Flametrooper or Captain Phasma to destroy the gold blocks on the red cylinder and build yourself a Minikit.

Minikit 9 - At the back of the right-hand area is a terminal you need to use to put a bomb on the bottom half of red cylinder. Next to it is a grey crate with four square red lights on the front. When you smash the smaller crate for a multi-build, build right instead of left to open the crate and grab the Minikit.

Minikit 10 - Upstairs on the right side, head all the way over to the far right and grapple up to the top floor. Use a Protocol Droid on the terminal and grab the Minikit behind the doors and a Toxic cloud (which the Droid will be able to walk straight through).

Free Play Chapter 10 - The Finale

Location: Starkiller Base
Red Brick: Collect Guide Studs
Special Skills Required: Force, Flametrooper, Ackbar, Toxic Cloud, Cracked Wall Breaker

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Oscillator Bombing Run

Minikit 1 - Find the Race marker in the middle of the opening space battle and complete the Race to get a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - After you've taken out the TIEs in the opening battle you'll be in an on-rails section in the bowels of Starkiller base. Shoot five green turrets on the walls as soon as you can (before you make a sharp right turn in front of a wall of green turrets).

Minikit 3 - Shortly after the sharp right turn you'll pass through some giant turbine blades. Make sure to grab the Minikit in a ring of gold studs near the last turbine. You'll actually need to be a bit to the right and beneath the centre of the screen to get it as the scene rotates as you get near the turbine blades.

Minikit 4 - In the final flight section you'll be flying sideways in a tight circle. Before you smash enough red pipes to reach the 100% counter, you need to hit the three red First Order emblems on the walls between the pipes. My advice is to not shoot at all until you're sure you've got all three. The controls are exceptionally goofy in this section, essentially you can only move up and down on a Y axis. You'll need to move down the screen a bit to hit the emblems.

Checkpoint 2 - Starkiller Showdown

Minikit 5 - Fight Ren until you can switch to the character up top. Immediately head left and smash up all the debris. Build it back up into a Snow BB-8 (1/3). Cross over the fallen tree and head right a bit (past the glowing multi-build) until you see some bouncing snow debris. Build it into a Snow Darth Vader (2/3). Continue the Kylo Ren fight as the third build is in the final section. In fact, you'll get ALL of the remaining Minikits before you get the Snow Stormtrooper (3/3), which you'll find to the right directly after you've wall-jumped up a vertical shaft just after Minikit 10.

Minikit 6 - In the first section Again with your upper-level character, to the right of your starting point is an Ackbar Pool covered in ice. Use a Flametrooper and then Ackbar to retrieve your Minikit.

Minikit 7 - In the section section, switch up to your top character and pull on the grapple on the left-most tree to shake loose a Minikit which your Ren-battling character can grab.

Minikit 8 - At the back of the top area is a switch and a mini Blaster Battle shooting gallery. Six sentry droids will rise up from the bottom of the screen periodically. Get all six to get a Minikit.

Minikit 9 - In the third section when you are gripping to the wall, switch to the lower character and hop along the stone towers. Instead of hopping onto the snowy ledge above, hop right to find another stone tower lower down. Hop right two more times and then pass through the Toxic cloud to grab a Minikit.

Minikit 10 - Hop back up from Minikit 9 and up onto the snowy ledge. Smash the cracked wall for a Minikit.

Red Brick - Before you fight Ren for the last time, the Red Brick is above you in plain sight on the left. Look to the right with a Force-equipped character and locate a snow-capped shrub that you can shake for coins. To the right of this is a tiny tiny snowball which you can roll from the right to the left. It'll get bigger as it rolls, making a handy platform to the Red Brick. Admission: I didn't even spot this in my first run, electing instead to use Athgar Heece from Lor San Tekka's Return to jump off a nearby rock and Jetpack up to the Brick.

Free Play Epilogue - Luke's Island

Location: D'Qar
Red Brick: The Funk Awakens
Special Skills Required: Ackbar, Lightsaber, Dark Force, Staff Wielder, Small, Flametrooper, Cracked Wall Breaker

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***

Minikit 1 - There are three brown birds throughout the level that you should knock off their perches. The first is directly behind you when you start. The second is on the platform above the stairs you pull out with the orange handles mentioned in Minikit 8 (where the two characters split up). When the camera starts to close in at the end of the level, DO NOT go left towards Luke. Go right and get the last bird.

Minikit 2 - Directly behind and above where you start is a crate. Pull it down using the grapple and build yourself a Minikit.

Minikit 3 - Left of your starting point is an Ackbar pool. Dive in with the Admiral to reach a small island and a Minikit.

Minikit 4 - Right of your starting point is a dotted line on the wall. Use a lightsaber to free the way to a Minikit.

Minikit 5 - Before you head up the stairs to the box with the orange handles in the next section, head right and jump on the stone tower to reach a platform. Use the Force on the debris in the water to the right to pull up a Minikit.

Minikit 6 - From the same platform, double-jump to the Minikit in the background.

Minikit 7 - Once you've solved the next puzzle to get both of your characters up the tall ledge and built some stairs to continue, you'll see a Minikit on a ledge above you. Use a staff in the slot above to flip an acrobatic character over to it.

Red Brick - Once you've solved the next puzzle to get rid of the big pile of rocks blocking the way, use the Dark Force on the red and black rocks. Send a small character through the grate to get the Red Brick.

Minikit 8 - Once you've used both characters to push the big rock and make a bridge, there's a set of orange handles in the wall ahead. Directly to the left of this is a wall you can move with the Force to reveal another Minikit.

Minikit 9 - Once you've split up with your second character, head up one set of steps and then left instead of right up the next set. There's a gold wall you can burn down with a Flametrooper, hiding a Minikit.

Minikit 10 - When the camera starts to close in at the end of the level, DO NOT go left towards Luke. Go right and smash down the cracked wall to get your last Minikit for the level.

If you've done everything up to this point, you should have enough Gold Bricks to have unlocked the Story Modes of "Poe to the Rescue", "Lor San Tekka's Return" and "Rathtar Hunting". Complete those and you'll also have enough Bricks to play the Story of "The Crimson Corsair". Finish those Story Modes to unlock Free Play (see previous page) and then head back here to get the Minikits and Red Bricks for those levels.

New Star Wars Adventure Level 1 - Poe to the Rescue

Location: D'Qar
Red Brick: Infinite Torpedoes
Special Skills Required:

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Trash Compactor

Minikit 1 - Once you've gotten over to the right, stand next to the water to the left of the two Grapple points. See the flapping feet upside down in the muck? Use the Force to get the Droid out, and then smash it up to build yourself a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - Complete the first part of the Trash Compactor as normal, and the second part to stretch the walls back out. Head all the way into the foreground and look left for an Ackbar pool. Build yourself a Kit.

Checkpoint 2 - Hangar Battle

Red Brick - As soon as you start the section, you'll see two gas canisters in a little alcove to the left. Destroy them and head left through a secret passage. Smash everything in the room that can be smashed with the Dark Force to reveal the Red Brick.

Minikit 3 - As soon as you start the section, head into the foreground as far as you can go and then look left for a Grapple point. Pull it (1/3). The next one is on the other side of the first BB-8 lock, over in the red-lit alcove on the left next to the hat machine (2/3). The final one is just on the other side of the door once you've put on the right hat to unlock it (3/3).

Minikit 4 - Finish the whole Blaster Battle. DO NOT connect the yellow plug to the wall on the right of the elevator by pushing the block (this is all right in front of you as you finish the Battle) as you will automatically get in the elevator and skip this section. Instead, hop up to the area above and to the right of it and use the Force on the crates to the right to make a stairway. Head up and hop over the crates to reach the Minikit.

Minikit 5 - Jump back into the lower area, to the second stage of the Blaster Battle. Blow up the silver pipes on the left to get a Minikit.

Minikit 6 - To the left of the elevator at the back of this area is a small grate. Send a character through and then hop on the BB-8 pad. Bring down the crates and smash the one nearest the foreground for a Minikit.

Minikit 7 - Now we can head down the elevator, but stay sharp - you need to hit two targets beyond the window on the way down, where the Stormtroopers are having their workout. Just start shooting as soon as you see the window and aim your shots to the left and then to the right. If you miss them you'll have to restart this whole section!

Checkpoint 3 - Asteroid Escape

Minikit 8 - The first Minikit in this on-rails section is in the small hole you pass through in the big asteroid, about 15-20 seconds in. Quite hard to miss.

Minikit 9 - In the interior on-rails section, you'll need to hit all 7 glowing green rocks evenly spaced throughout the section. If you break through to the outside without hitting all 7 you'll have to restart the checkpoint.

Minikit 10 - In the free-fly section, destroy the first wave of TIEs and then grab the torpedoes from the elite TIEs that appear. Hit the three smaller pink blocks around the outskirts of the area. If you hit the larger piles of pink-studded rubble in the centre of the area you'll finish the mission and have to restart.

New Star Wars Adventure Level 2 - Lor San Tekka's Return

Location: Jakku
Red Brick: Studs x10
Special Skills Required: Jetpack, BB-8, Lightsaber, Ackbar, Thermal

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Minikit 1 - Immediately right of your starting position is a crashed ship. Have BB-8 use the switch on the left engine to blow out the right and build the Minikit.

Minikit 2 - Head right until you see a box with a shooting target on it. Shoot it to unveil a droid similar to the one you used in the Niima Outpost level to dredge up a minikit from the sand. This time you won't control the droid so follow it right and build a Minikit once it's revealed it.

Minikit 3 - This one can be irritating. There are four creatures in the sandy first area that pop out of the sand and you need to shoot all four. I believe they only crop up in the below order once you have shot the preceding one, so maybe it's all just one creature. The first is at the beginning - head down towards the screen until you get to an inverted U shaped ridge in the sand (the crashed ship will be in the top left corner of the screen). The creature will pop its head up just above and to the left of the ridge (1/4). The next is directly in front of the crashed ship (2/4), while the third is by the BB-8 pad behind it (3/4). The final one is to the right of the BB-8 pad - hop over the fence and head right a bit to see it (4/4). Build the Minikit that appears in pieces.

Minikit 4 - Head all the way to the right and use a lightsaber on the circular dotted line to destroy a fan and access the Minikit.

Minikit 5 - Follow the Story instructions to head through to the next area and solve the BB-8 lock puzzle on the back wall to access a Minikit.

Minikit 6 - From the previous Minikit, head into the foreground and jump in the Ackbar Pool to build another Minikit.

Red Brick - From the Pool in the above Minikit, jump over the fence into a lower area in the foreground. Use the BB-8 switch above you to wake up a Rock-'Em Sock-'Em Robots game. You need to make one of them win by repeatedly hitting either the green or pink balloon things until the opposing robot's head pops off. Win three rounds for a Red Brick. There's a ladder to the left to get back up to the main area.

Minikit 7 - Get up top using the wheel and the swing pole as per Story Mode and blow up the silver bricks at the back to nab a Minikit. Double-jump up the slope.

Minikit 8 - On the wall to the left of Minikit 7 is the first of four silver objects to destroy (1/4). Continue on as per Story Mode to the next area and just past the silver-plated ship (same area as Minikit 9), tilt the camera up to see another silver object on the left wall (2/4). Progress all the way across to the right to see another on the right wall (3/4), and then continue with the story until you just before the final exit to see the last object (4/4). Don't forget about Minikits 9 and 10 before you leave, or you'll have to do this whole level again just to get to them...

Minikit 9 - Just after the crashed ship with the silver section, which you can blow up to make a series of hop pads in Story Mode, you'll see a Minikit in the background on the ledge. A Jetpack character like Athgar Heece can reach this ledge from the front walkway, as long as you wait as late into your jump as possible to set off the Jetpack.

Minikit 10 - In the final area, once you've revealed and destroyed the left-hand Cracked Wall and hopped up to the top, head left and blow up the silver corners of the fence. Shoot the target on the wheel-thing in the back of this area four times. Two times you will face off with a few enemies, one time you will receive a bunch of studs and the final time you'll get the pieces you need for a Minikit.

New Star Wars Adventure Level 3 - Rathtar Hunting

Location: Twon Ketee
Red Brick: Fast Force
Special Skills Required: Staff, Dark Force, Small, Ackbar, Gold Brick Breaker

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Checkpoint 1 - Rathtar Caverns

Minikit 1 - Using any character with a staff, head up to the left platforms in the starting area and use the staff to flip across the poles. Pull down the grapple at the back to reveal the pieces of your first Minikit.

Minikit 2 - Directly below Minikit 1, use the Dark Force to break the red and black bricks and access the second Minikit.

Minikit 3 - During the wade through the cavern, use the force on all five yellow flowers for a Minikit.

Minikit 4 - Continue through until you have defeated the first Rathtar and solved the waterfall puzzle. On the second level of the waterfall, to the right are some pink flowers covering a grate. Send a small guy through to get a Minikit.

Red Brick - On the left side of the third level of the waterfall (directly above where you pulled the orange handles), head through a tiny gap in the left wall. You'll come out on the far side of the map. Follow the spiral ramp right to get to the Red Brick.

Minikit 5 - In the area where you attract the bugs with cupcakes to use the jump points on their backs, multi-build right instead of left to hop up to a Minikit.

Minikit 6 - Above the cupcake bugs, send Ackbar into the pool on the right and build a Minikit.

Checkpoint 2 - Loading Area

Minikit 7 - DO NOT START THE BLASTER BATTLE. DON'T GO INTO COVER. Okay? Right. You need to head right into the foreground-left corner first and use the Force on the flower trapping the Minikit.

Minikit 8 - Directly left and above Minikit 7 is a bunch of Gold Bricks. Use an appropriate character to blow these up and after both are destroyed the Minikit will fall.

Minikit 9 - Now you can go to the Blaster Battle, but take care as you need to get this one during the fight. You need to manually aim at and shoot five blue flower bombs during the battle. They're blue bulbs with a sprig of orange on top, small and low to the ground. Head to the left-most cover at the beginning of the fight and there will be one off to your right and on your level. From the same position you can get two more of the bombs on the floor, left of the Rathtar cage. (You won't be able to aim at the one on the right or the one behind the blue shield). Switch to the next cover to the right and you should be able to aim right at the bulb in the bottom right corner of the lower level. Finish of the first section of the Battle to switch sides of the map. Head to the left-most cover and you should be able to hit the fifth on the bottom floor between the Rathtar cage and the blue shield.

Minikit 10 - For the final kit, finish the Blaster Battle and as soon as you're dropped to the ground floor head to the upper left corner of the area. Use the grapple on the orange and white crate above to pull it down for the final Minikit.

New Star Wars Adventure Level 4 - The Crimson Corsair

Location: Kerroc
Red Brick: Imperial Inaccuracy
Special Skills Required: Gold Brick Breaker, Dark Force, Small, First Order, Thermal

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***

Minikit 1 - Immediately to your left when you start is a grapple hook. Pull it for a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - Head as far left as you can from here. Behind all the droids is a rock in the left cliff held in place by some gold bricks. Destroy them and build up the Minikit from the pieces that appear.

Minikit 3 - Still in the starting area, head to the right side of the ship and use the Force on the right-hand engine, shaking loose the pieces of the third Minikit.

Minikit 4 - Behind Minikit 3 is the first of three lizards you have to find throughout the level. Destroy it (1/3). The second one is hidden just behind the foot of the electrified stairs which you turn off during the first multi-build puzzle (2/3). When you get to the point where you pass through a grate to reach an upper level and destroy a tower with a Thermal detonator, head into the foreground on this upper platform to find the final lizard (3/3).

Minikit 5 - When completing the multi-build puzzle to get past the blue flame and electrified stairs, multi-build left to make a droid. It'll dig up a Minikit.

Minikit 6 - Once you've completed the first multi-build puzzle and deactivated the electrified stairs, head up them and left to a vending machine. Extract the Minikit pieces from it using the First Order terminal by the side of it.

Minikit 7 - When you pass back outside, three Stormtroopers attack from the background. Head up the path they came down and use the Dark Force on the fan. There's a Minikit behind it.

Minikit 8 - When you reach the gap in the walkway, blow up the rear silver objects as normal to enable you to grapple up to the top walkway. Head down and right instead of left and eventually you'll find a grapple. Pull it to reveal a Minikit.

Red Brick - Continue right on the upper platform as per Story Mode. On the far side, of the gap in the walkway, smash the glowing box. Don't multi-build it left to create the hopping platforms for the other character, go right instead. You'll unlock the back panel. Jump in to find the Red Brick behind the droid with the red umbrella.

Minikit 9 - Once you have dealt with the waves of Stormtroopers and the two mini TIE fighters, head up to the platform where the trooper was building the TIES. Stand on the left edge and look left and back to a floating platform. Use the Force on it to bring it forward. You might need to move along the edge a bit to find the sweet spot where the Force will start working. Jump on the platform when it arrives to get the Minikit.

Minikit 10 - Head right and into the foreground of this area to see a lower platform leading off into the bottom-right corner of the screen. Follow this platform all the way to the end.

If you've been following along you'll have gotten to this point, but you'll be one Gold Brick off unlocking the Story Mode of "Trouble Over Taul". You'll need to get a Hub World Gold Brick from the next page. I suggest starting with the Millennium Falcon seeing as you're already there.

New Star Wars Adventure Level 5 - Trouble Over Taul

Location: Taul
Red Brick: Regenerating Combat Bar
Special Skills Required: Thermal, Resistance, Flametrooper, Gold Brick Breaker, Cracked Lego Wall Breaker, Dark Force, Cold Resistance, Protocol Droid

Warning - Minikit 2 in the below list requires the destruction of four droids throughout the level. At several points in this level you will initiate a cutscene and you will not be able to return to the previous area, so pay attention to this Minikit in particular.

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***

Minikit 1 - As soon as you finish the opening Blaster Battle, blow up the silver door on the wall to the left with a Thermal. Destroy the two boxes that fall out and build a Minikit.

Minikit 2 - Around the corner from the opening Blaster Battle is droid 1 of 4. Destroy it. The second is after you have gotten the two fire extinguisher robots to deal with the fire, in the corridor heading to the right (You'll be up to Minikit 7 in the list below at this point). Make sure you've gotten him before you head into the second Blaster Battle. Droid 3 is after the Blaster Battle in the part where the corridor is completely wrecked and open to space. In the top right corner (above the scan point) is a floating droid, which you can put out of its misery. The final droid is right at the end of the level, on the ship's bridge. Make sure to get it before you scan the area as that will finish the level.

Minikit 3 - In the round room at the end of the corridor from the first Blaster Battle (before you start heading right, down the corridor) you'll see a Resistance Terminal. Access it and head up the ladder. Jump on the turret gun to the right and blast five asteroids to get the Minikit.

Minikit 4 - Directly to the right of the turret from Minikit 3 is another Minikit in an ice block. Use a Flametrooper to retrieve it.

Minikit 5 - Head back down to the Resistance terminal, and this time drop down the ladder instead of going up. Use the Dark Force on the wall directly left of the ladder to retrieve a Minikit.

Minikit 6 - In the same area, use the Force on a vending machine further left to spew out the Minikit pieces. Build them.

Red Brick - Even further left from Minikit 6, cold temperatures block your path. Switch to a Snowtrooper or any droid to walk freely into the icy cloud and find the Brick.

Minikit 7 - When you start heading down the right-hand corner to continue the story (before you smash through a wall to avoid the flames), use a Protocol Droid on the terminal. Grab the revealed Minikit.

Minikit 8 - Make sure you've gotten 2 droids for Minikit 2 and all other Minikits up to 7 before initiating the second Blaster Battle. You'll not be able to return after the Battle. As soon as it starts, switch to Phasma or another character holding a weapon heavy enough to destroy Gold bricks (Flame weapons aren't appropriate here). Hit the gold object behind the rebel troops several times to get the Kit. Try aiming a little above the gold object to hit it effectively, and make sure you don't destroy the target number of troops in this section before you get your Minikit.

Minikit 9 - After the second Blaster Battle is over, head into the foreground and look to the wall on the right. Use a character that can smash a Cracked Lego Wall and nab the Kit.

Minikit 10 - Head through the door after the second Blaster Battle to the smashed-up corridor exposed to outer space. Way up in the top left is a floating Minikit. Use the Force to bring it down. You'll need to be standing just past the entrance door and pull the Kit all the way back to you, rather than walk up underneath it.

New Star Wars Adventure Level 6 - Ottegan Assault

Location: Arthon
Red Brick: Super Disco Blasters
Special Skills Required:

Checkpoint 1 - Ottegan Pursuit

Two Minikits in quick succession here during the on-rails flight - stay sharp!

Minikit 1 - you need to take down the two rebel command ships as soon as possible. These are the two targets that will have a yellow rectangle inside the usual red triangle, denoting them as priority targets. After Minikit 2 below, one of the further two command ships need to be taken down to secure this Minikit.

Minikit 2 - At one point your ship will roll off the side of the initial corridor of buildings and the camera will tilt 90 degrees, as you pass through a blue-lit area. Keep an eye on the stud rings in the air - one towards the end of this blue corridor contains a Minikit right in the centre. You'll need to be near the top-left of the screen to pass through it perfectly. Don't forget to shoot down one of the two additional command ships for Minikit 1 just after this section!

Minikit 3 - In the free-flight section, there's a race marker low down between two of the islands. Beat the race as usual to get the Minikit.

Checkpoint 2 - Ottegan Surface

Minikit 4 - Deal with the initial enemy waves and the rocket droid, but stay in the first area. Use the Dark Force on the front of Phasma's TIE fighter to get a Minikit.

Red Brick - All the way to the left, next to another flying droid (which you should shoot as part of the next Minikit), is a Cracked Lego Wall. Use an appropriate character to smash it down and claim the Red Brick inside.

Minikit 5 - there are three non-rocket-shooting flying droids throughout the level, looking similar to their silver-plated cousins but only requiring regular blaster shots to take down. One is right next to the Red Brick above, in the opening area. The second is in the area with four grapples on the door blocking the way forward - you'll find it off to the right of the screen. The final target is in the last area, again floating above and to the right.

Minikit 6 - On the other side of the building containing the Red Brick is an Resistance Terminal. Access it to unlock the door to the Minikit.

Minikit 7 - Head into the Ackbar Pool on the right side of this area to dredge up the pieces of another Minikit.

Minikit 8 - After you've used the Force to make one turret shoot the other, deal with the rocket droid on the left to explode both the droid and a metal object on the floor beneath it for another Minikit. If you chose to deal with this droid in the Story (very likely), you'll probably already have this kit.

Minikit 9 - When you destroy the Gold Brick section of the crane, instead of multi-building the debris left to make the Gold canisters, multi-build right to make a finishing rod, which grabs you another Minikit.

Minikit 10 - In the final area, look to the right to see a Toxic Cloud behind some crates. Destroy the crates and equip a character with a gas mask or no breathing problems to walk through. Simply walk around to the left of this hidden area to stumble over your final Minikit.

Don't forget to purchase all Red Bricks, including the ones available to purchase from the start, to get:

If you got True Jedi on all levels, you'll have the below:

And if you got all the Minikits, you'll unlock:
