911 Lone Star season 2 Disney Plus

9-1-1: Lone Star is a spin-off of the television series 9-1-1, and was ordered by Fox in May 2019. The series is available on Disney+, but only certain seasons are available in certain regions.

9-1-1: Lone Star follows Owen Strand who was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11. In the wake of the attack, Owen had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy happens to a firehouse in Austin, Owen, along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K., takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to Texas, where he helps them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath he struggles with a secret he hides from the world – one that could very well end his life.

Can You Watch 9-1-1: Lone Star On Disney Plus?

In the United States, definitely not. Other regions, such as the UK, can watch 9-1-1: Lone Star directly on Disney+ thanks to the addition of Star.

In Australia, 9-1-1: Lone Star is not available to stream on Disney+ as it’s been licensed out to 7plus.

Both seasons are available to stream on Disney+ in Canada.

When is 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 coming to Disney Plus UK?

The short answer is that we don’t know as Disney hasn’t announced when 9-1-1: Lone Star series four will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

It’s pretty standard for streaming services to receive a new season just before a new season arrives on linear TV. Season 3 is expected to arrive sometime in Summer 2022 on Sky, meaning that season 2 could come on Disney+ around that time. Season 1 also arrived when season 2 started on Sky, so it does seem likely that we’ll see season 2 arrive around June 2022 or sooner.

UPDATE 6/22/22 – Disney has announced that Season 2 of “9-1-1 Lone Star” will release on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. 

When is 9-1-1: Lone Star season 3 coming?

While nothing has been officially announced on a release date 9-1-1: Lone Star season 3, it’s expected to arrive in early 2022 in the United States. This would mean that 9-1-1: Lone Star season 3 would arrive sometime in the Summer of 2022 in the United Kingdom. We’ll let you know the moment season 3 release date is confirmed.

Disney has announced that Season 2 of “9-1-1 Lone Star” will release on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.  Season 3 of the series will also begin streaming on the same day with the first episode.  New episodes will then release every Wednesday after.

“9-1-1: Lone Star” explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders, including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers, who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations in Texas. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The show draws from real-life, high-pressure experiences of first responders who regularly face heart-stopping situations that are often unpredictable, intense and uplifting at the same time.

The series stars Rob Lowe (‘The West Wing’), Brian Michael Smith (‘The L Word: Generation Q’), Ronen Rubinstein (‘Orange Is The New Black’), Sierra McClain (‘Empire’), Julian Works, Jim Parrack (‘True Blood’) and Gina Torres (‘Suits’). The series is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear.

It is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.

Previous seasons of “9-1-1: Lonestar” are available to stream on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally in some countries.  The series was also just renewed for a fourth season.
