Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2018 Dr Martens makes an excellent product, but for this particular shoe/style/product there is a discrepancy in their sizing. I wear a size Men's11D (US) and for every other shoe I've bought for the last 20 years this has held true, including Dr Martens Gumbys (excellent shoe also). This Adrian loafer is the only shoe I've had to return and reorder one size larger (Men's 12D (US)). Upon receiving the larger shoe and trying it on, it fits as if it were my normal size. Of course it fits tight like a quality leather shoe should, as it breaks in it will stretch and conform to your foot. were it not for the issue of sizing, this would be a perfect shoe. Every other aspect of the shoe is absolutely top notch and worth the money you pay for them. I have no problem recommending these shoes to anyone, male or female, just be prepared to order one size up or be ready to send them back for an exchange. |
