A Note from Emily & David: THIS IS THE THIRD WEEK OF OUR SUMMER OF HEROES! We love the lessons we are learning...and we hope you are too! If you are still interested in participating there are several ways to get involved: Be sure to print out the TAKE 5 cards below.  The top right card every week will be the HERO CARD.  It will tell you everything you need to know for the week including the hero, the protection scripture and the battle ready challenge. You might want to order an MMLX bracelet to wear throughout this Summer of Heroes experience.  MMLX are the Roman Numerals for 2060, which is the full number of the Stripling Warriors at the time when Helaman declared, “And now...we were strong” (Alma 57:6).  We hope this will be a summer full of heroes, a summer of protection scriptures and battle ready challenges, a summer of becoming strong.  WRISTBANDS WILL BEGIN SHIPPING MAY 29, 2020. THIS WEEK'S VIDEO Head over to our YouTube channel to catch this week’s teaching from Emily and David. DON'T MISS THIS TAKE FIVE! The number one question you asked for help with was coming up with discussion ideas and good questions for your study.  We've spent the last few months coming up with a solution and we think you are going to love it!   Each week there will be five conversation cards.  One for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and one weekend card. Cut out each of the cards and place them on the kitchen table or wherever you do your daily morning or evening scripture study. The cards compliment the devotionals found in our devotional book, Don't Miss This in the Book of Mormon. You might consider reading the two minute devotional and then starting a short discussion from the conversation cards.  When you are done with the discussion, the card includes a simple challenge for each day. 5 verses.  5 Questions.  5 Challenges.  5 days a week. If you are just finding out about the Summer of Heroes, here is everything you need to know:

As we study the book of Alma this summer we thought it would be so fun to highlight all of the heroes in these chapters.  So, from June - August we will be highlighting a different hero or group of heroes each week.  We will introduce you to the hero, a protection scripture that teaches one of our favorite qualities about that hero, and we will give you a challenge to prepare you to be battle ready.  In order to keep track of everything we learn, we have created a free downloadable poster that you can hang somewhere in your house as a reminder of our summer adventure.
