Does Trijicon RMR fit canik tp9 Elite SC?

I ordered my Elite SC. Now I notice it has the mounting plate on it, but it takes a micro red dot. Is Shield the only option?

I asked GallowayPrecision and they said they could mill the slot slightly longer and allow it to take any red dot, but so far factory it’s just the Shield, Jpoint, and Sig RomeoZero with that mounting footprint.

If they did that, what mounting plates could you use?

HOLOSUN 507K was announced at SHOT Show 2020 in January with a release scheduled for 1st QTR.

Have somewhat of a chicken or the egg thing going on as there are not a ton of small optic-ready pistols (Hellcat, Sig 365XL, Canik SC) yet so there are not a ton of choices for Micro Red Dot Optics.

... But the market for both is growing fast!
People wanting small carry pistols with the Micro Red Dots to fit them are out there.

Why you would want to take a carry size pistol WITH a Micro Red Dot Optic Cut and then PAY someone to make it BIGGER to throw on a BIGGER optic to carry seems silly to me, but to each their own.

(I have a Sig Romeo Zero backordered)

With the new cut, you would lose the Canik back sight but would gain a bevy of some pretty fantastic red dot choices although at the cost of gaining the size of the 'non-micro' red dots. The 'thick' Canik SC should take it however.

Holosun 407k AND 507k.

407k is 6moa red dot.
507k is 2moa red dot AND or 32moa circle.

407k @$240 507k @$330 msrp

OP has 407k $220.
OP has Romeo Zero $199
(Both preorder/waiting list)

As of Feb 20th NOBODY has any of these in stock.
Holosun does show as 'add to cart' on their website despite not being released yet.
Sig website shows out of stock and Sig seems to have reputation of not being able to meet market demand for their products.

---
Comparison of the OPTICS.
Holosun 507k and 407k
Sig Romeo Zero

Holosuns frame = aluminum.
Sig frame = plastic.

Holosuns lens = coated glass.
Sig lens = coated plastic.

Holosuns waterproof
Sig not waterproof

Holosun brightness adjustment = bigger side buttons up AND down. Glove friendly.
Sig brightness adjustment = single hard-to-get-to button on top that cycles brightness 1-9? 9-1 - garbage!

Holosuns battery compartment on side.
Sig under sights (have to remove sight)

Both have great battery life @50k hours and auto off/motion on.

Sig have separate 3 moa and 6 moa versions.

Sig slightly smaller.

Sig more decreet (better) look - all black.
Holosuns bright white logos and text everywhere you look! And they advertise these for CCW.
Looks like pimped out billboard for Holosun brand sport shooting team, not optic for CCW.

Think I'm ordering one of the Holosuns and canceling order for the Sig.

Optics planet let me know my Sig Romeo zero shipment is delayed.

Ordered on Jan 20 (claimed 10-21 day wait) OP sent me email Feb 12 letting me know new ESTIMATED ship date is Feb 23.

I have an AR buttstock being held hostage as part of this order that I need that they won't ship until optic is in stock.

Looks like I might get Holosun shipped before the Sig!

Will cancel order and will try not to use Optics Planet.

The Shield RMSW (or RMS) seems like the best option. It has an 8 MOA dot - but is also hard to get and generally unavailable. It's also expensive at $430.

Check out the Riton X3 Tactix MPRD. Same foot print as shield. Aluminum body and glass lense. Also comes with a fantastic warranty! Picked up mine from Amazon for $199.
