anticipated the release of the penultimate episode of BMF Season 1, but the anticipation was ruined when the episode was streamed early. Here’s why Starz accidentally made the episode available. However, they won’t have to wait much longer to see what Big Meech and Southwest T are going to do about Lamar (Eric Kofi-Abrefa). Episode 7, “All In the Family,”
will air on Nov. 14. Then on Nov. 21, the season finale, “The King of Detroit,” will air just before the season premiere of Ghost, which is titled “Free Will Is Never Free.” The official description for the episode reads, “Blood spills into the streets when Meech devises a plan for revenge, forcing Lamar to seek shelter with someone close.” RELATED: ‘BMF’: What Does Big Meech Think About the Show? Though BMF episode 107 is slated to air on Nov. 14 so that the season finale will air with the Power Book II: Ghost Season 2 premiere, the drama series streamed early. Fans who logged on to the Starz app on Nov. 7 at midnight were able to view the series. The episode stayed live for 3 hours before it was snatched down. Now, Starz claimed it was all due to a technical glitch. “The fan demand for BMF, and specifically this highly anticipated episode directed by executive producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, is undeniable,” a spokesperson said via The Hollywood Reporter. “There was a technical glitch that allowed fans that have the Starz app who logged in right at midnight to temporarily access the episode early. In fact, the rapper/executive producer is irate that the episode was leaked — accidental or otherwise. 50 Cent has now declared that he’s looking to buy the Starz network. “Starz is a sh*t show, they better sell it fast,” he shared. “They put the f****** BMF show on, then took it down. what network does shit like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode i directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.” 50 Cent’s 4-year $150 million agreement is set to come to a close in 2022, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens next. The rapper-turned-EP took to Twitter and Instagram this weekend to decry Starz and its premature streaming of Episode 7 of BMF, because the Detroit-set crime drama was supposed to be on a week-long hiatus. On Monday, Starz released a statement saying a technical glitch was to blame for the early release, but didn’t say how many viewers actually watched before it was taken down. “The fan demand for BMF, and specifically this highly-anticipated episode directed by executive producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, is undeniable,” a network spokesperson said in a statement. “There was a technical glitch that allowed fans that have the Starz app, who logged in right at midnight, to temporarily access the episode early. What network does s–t like that? They just ruined the anticipation of the episode I directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.”  “They called me saying they wanted to hold Episode 7 back a week so we can roll right into Ghost,” he wrote. “I said cool. Then these s–thead people put the f–king episode out for three hours and take it down. This is not ok. When I get uncomfortable, I make everybody uncomfortable. Now who getting fired?” In another tweet, Jackson thanked rapper, friend and Detroit native Eminem for guest-starring in the installment as “White Boy Rick” Wershe and added, “Episode 7 of BMF is the best work I have done directing to date. I’m disappointed that Starz handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they couldn’t have made happen.” Prior to this, Jackson directed an episode of his first Starz drama, Power, during its sixth and final season.
