Oh no, Ruti is out of control! Oh wait, that got resolved quickly. Really quickly.
Overall I liked this show (certainly better than last season's slow life anime). It was especially nice to see a couple actually making progress. I would have preferred if it kept to the slow life though, this serious plot wasn't as good. And what happened with that whole curse thing? They really seemed to rush through it, I'm not even sure what the point was.

Is there enough material left for a season 2? This actually felt like it could have been the finale (aside from that Elf showing up again and being on her way to visit Red and Rit).

An Asura Demon was the first Hero (not the one they were just fighting), that seems to be Red's theory.

Awkwardly cute "sex" scene being the highlight here.

This should've been an 8 but the dungeon crap brings it down by a whole 2 points making this a 6/10.

Think I can do without another season if it gets announced at some point

Did you not see how crazed he was? Nobody liked him or agreed with him but it was clear he was as much a blessing-victim as Ruti, so people pay him some of the respect they think he could've deserved under other circumstances.

"Sage" doesn't sound like a Blessing that would lead him to sabotage the Hero's party just to make his own relative contributions greater. It sounds like a Blessing that should've made him go on a solo Journey of learning & self-improvement.

The plot of this show was so laughably bad until episode 9 when the siblings reunited

The wholesome stuff was good though

It sounds very self-absorbed. Conventionally it ought to lead to sound decision-making, but with an unearnest hero who only ackshually listens to a lowly starter-crutch it made him crazed and obsessive and too blinded by self-absorption to recognize his failings. It's telling that his entire self-identity was wrapped up in his relationship to greatness vis-a-vis the hero.
