Q: Why does Toy Chica lose her beak and eyes?

Toy Chica does it to make herself look scarier. Im pretty sure she removes it so she can properly bite the player.

Scott mentioned this in a teaser once, as many of you know, and clearly it must be important. She isn't even missing her beak tho, it's on the ground.

What does everyone think?

People have said that it's because the toy Chica's beak was originally detachable (for whatever reason), and then the Toy animatronics were based off of the actual toys, but I don't see how that would help us piece together the lore of FNAF 4, besides give us useless information that we didn't even need to know. Scott obviously was trying to point us in the direction of solving the lore, so it must have grave importance.

We're talking about the toy Chica in the FNAF 4 mini game, not the one in FNAF 2. Because there is no way it's a coincidence, and FNAF 4 comes four years before FNAF 2, whatever reason Chica in FNAF 2 is missing her beak has to come from the FNAF 4 toy Chica missing her beak.

That doesn't further our understanding of the lore, though. The fact that to girl may be possessing Toy Chica isn't something we needed to know at all and doesn't answer any important questions about the lore. When Scott said that no one figured out the story of FNAF 4, I highly doubt he was just saying that we missed a couple of minor details here and there that really don't change anything. He made it seem like everyone completely missed the story of FNAF 4. If that's the case, then the hints he was trying to give during the livestream weren't meant to give us small, unimportant details of the lore, but were meant to give us a revelation about the lore, about something that everyone was missing.
