So, here is a solution that worked for me and my friends:

Problem 1 - Sound bug ( cracking, etc)

Solution: As soon as someone join your squad you have to mute him BEFORE he produces any voice audio or noise in game. If you are playing with your buds on discord i recommend everyone turning off mics or be as quiet as possible until everyone mute each other.

Problem 2 - The Rec having connection problems in a squad (not connecting, crashing)

Solution: For some reason that only 2k knows, the solution that i typed before makes The Rec connection smooth and clean.

I dont know if this solution will work for everyone, but me and my buds tried everything thats available and nothing worked. After this solution we never had a single disconnect/crash or sound issues.

EDIT1: This mute has to be on NBA 2k22 via player phone and will not work if anyone speak or make any noise in game voice chat before muting.

Set Static IP

1. Open Wifi router settings. Enter the IP address provided by your ISP.
2. Now, log-in using your username and password.
3. Navigate to Settings > Enable Manual Assignment option.
4. Under the ‘Manual Assignment’ option, add both IP and MAC addresses > Select Add.

Enable Port Forwarding Setting in Wifi Router

1. When you logged into IP address, search for the Port Forwarding section (Some times on Advanced Settings).
2. In port forwarding setting, just enter the range of ports you want to open in Start and End / Internal and External.
3. For NBA 2K21, you can follow the below port ranges:
