Street Outlaws star Bobby Ducote has reached No. 1 on Street Outlaws America’s List. He reached the top of the list on Monday night.

This episode was filmed back in January in La Villa, Texas. He defeated Ryan Martin to reach the top spot on the list.

The Mississippi native got the advantage on Martin from the starting line. He left early on as the Oklahoma native. But despite the early start, it is “Chase is a race” on the show so Martin had to try to chase him down.

“I got out on him and he couldn’t catch me,” Ducote said in an interview on the show after the pass. “I could hear him but I could never see him. I got the W. I’m so crunk that I’m going to rip the steering wheel off this thing. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to sleep tonight.”

Martin, as he was racing Ducote, had problems. In a video captured by the show, Martin had sparks flying in the Fireball Camaro.

“As soon as I thought I could catch Bobby, it went kaboom,” Martin said. “All hell breaks loose. It was like somebody threw a grenade in my car while I’m driving. The shifter breaks off the mount and the upper frame rail bar moves the shifter forward and the drive shaft passes me and shoots to the front of the car. Stuff flies everywhere. Smoke, transmission fluid; it was crazy.”

Martin said the drive shaft broke during the pass. He also said that he was fine even though he took some bumps and got hit on the neck.

“I’m not hurt,” he said.
