    Will headers increase torque?

Improving your exhaust headers and using wider valves can help you with ventilating the cylinder more completely, allowing more air and fuel to come in during the next cycle. This improves the performance and torque of the vehicle. Torque is all about air intake and fuel combustion inside the cylinders of the engine.

Do long tube headers give more torque?

Another advantage with long-tube headers is that they not only give solid peak power numbers, but help to raise horsepower and torque in the low and mid-range of the RPM band, giving you more useable power down where you usually need it.

What headers are better for towing?

Shorty headers perform best in the idle to mid-RPM range. This makes them the perfect headers for vehicles that rely on low-RPM power, like a daily commuter or a work pickup that sees a lot of towing and hauling.

Which produces more power long or shorty headers?

With shorty headers, an additional choice you'll need to make is whether to get unequal or equal length headers. Unequal length headers offer a deeper rumbling sound and a little more low-end torque, but equal length headers offer greater performance gains consistently.
