Former Bondi Rescue star Rod ‘Kerrbox’ Kerr has faced court this morning, charged with stalking and intimidation.

The 51-year-old is alleged to have sent a series of threatening and abusive text messages to his former girlfriend, Malin Hylland on January 3 and 4.

It is alleged around 40 messages were sent over two days, following the couple’s break-up in 2018.

The former lifeguard made a frail first appearance at Waverley Local Court.

The Bondi personality was supported by a family member and his lawyers.

An apprehended domestic violence order is in place. The matter will be back in court later this month.
