SARATOGA SPRINGS >> A film crew spent Friday morning shooting a public service announcement for the state Health Department at High Rock Park in Saratoga Springs.

Each year, the department films an ad to educate New Yorkers about the importance of getting a flu shot.

The spot is scheduled to run in October.

“We have done this for several years,” a spokesperson said. “We shoot these spots in various sites. This year it’s High Rock Park and the Saratoga Springs City Center. These spots will run across the state.”

The commercials stress that New Yorkers should get the flu shot every year, not only for themselves, but also to protect others including loved ones such as elderly people and babies.

The red compact convertible in the 2021 Entresto Commercial is a 1957-59 Borgward Isabella. The Borgward Isabella model was manufactured between 1956 and 1961. Borgward was a small German company that wanted to compete with Mercedes-Benz. Borgward ceased manufacturing in 1961.

The vehicle in the commercial has been de-badged, especially the distinctive brand badge in the center of the grille. Nearly every extant Borgward has undergone at least one restoration; hence, most extant Borgwards are some level of frankencars. Extant Borgward details rarely match OEM photographs. The last year for convertible production was 1957.

LSW served as location scout for three 3-second commercials. Locations scouted were in central Arizona and included Mesa, Phoenix, Apache Junction, Sahuaro Lake, Payson, Flagstaff, Old Town Cottonwood, Jerome, Camp Verde, Prescott, U.S. Forest Service lands, state highways, and county and city roads.

When taken as directed, Entresto is a prescription medication intended to improve the heart's ability to pump blood throughout the body for adults with chronic heart failure.
