Installation

Risk of Rain 2 is a third-person shooter with a multiplayer mode. It is developed by Hopoo Games and PlayEveryWare. It is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Microsoft Windows. The second installment of Risk of Rain follows the same formula as the first. Players must progress through several levels, killing enemies and unlocking new characters. One to four players can play simultaneously, but only two characters are available at first — the Commando and Huntress.

Where is the save game folder in Risk of Rain 2?

There are a total of four locations of the Risk of Rain 2 save file. If you can’t find the file in the first location, you can try the next one. 

1. To find the Risk of Rain 2 save file, you will need to open Program Files (x86) and then go to the Steam folder. You will find the “userdata” folder inside it, open it up and you will find your Steam User ID Number there. 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Steam User ID Number\632360\remote\UserProfiles

1. To access the save file, you will need to go to Documents inside Public user and then navigate to Steam -> CODEX -> 632360.

1. In your user directory, you have to go to Roaming and double-tap on CreamAPI -> 632360. 

C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\CreamAPI\632360

1. To find the save file, you will need to open Program Files (x86) inside C drive and then go to Risk of Rain 2. After that, go to LOCALSAVE -> 632360 -> remote -> UserProfiles.

How Do I Install the Save File?

First, you will need to download the saved game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.  

Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
