I did see that thread which is why I asked about the neighborhood parking. If the houses around the area will be allowing people to park at their houses on a non football day? That is my question.

I don’t think parking on lawns is allowed in South Bend, even during football games. It’s allowed in the unincorporated area east of campus.

In the thread linked above I described where I park for football games. This is on street parking, not in yards. Just don't block someone's driveway, watch for the fire hydrants and be aware a few streets are no parking on one side of the street - the no parking zones are well signed.

The walk from this neighborhood is 15-20 minutes depending on how close you can get.

To clarify my post-There are private vacant lots south of campus that sell parking for football games. I posted this in the thread linked above. Lots with houses south of campus do not sell drive-up parking on their lawns for football games.

There is plenty of free and legal street parking in the neighborhood south of campus (which is technically southwest of the stadium).
