Our Fortnite Klombo and Klomberries guide will show you where to find Klombos and Klomberries in the new Fortnite 19.10 Patch. Both will help you complete the Week 7 “Throw a Klomberry while standing within 10 meters of a Klombo,” “Restore health by consuming Klomberries,” “Glide for 150 meters after launching from a Klombo’s blowhole” quests.

Fortnite’s 19.10 patch adds a huge dinosaur called a Klombo — or “Colombo” as autocorrect likes to type — to the island, along with the return of Tilted Towers. These gentle giants won’t attack you unless provoked, and they can even reward you with items if you tame them with Klomberries.

Where to find Klombos

Klombos are huge and noisy creatures, so they’re hard to miss. You’ll probably hear them long before you see them, or you might notice them knocking down structures and trees. Being so large means they tend to spawn in more open areas (not too close to named locations or landmarks).

We’ve spotted Klombos at the locations pinned on the Fortnite Klombos map above:

  • South of Coney Crossroads
  • Along the shore north-northeast of Daily Bugle
  • Along the shore to the north of Logjam Lumberyards
  • In the southwest, south of Greasy Grove and west of Chonker’s Speedway
  • North of The Joneses

We’ll update the map above as we find more spawn points.

A Klombo’s favorite food is, fittingly, a Klomberry. You’ll find Klomberry bushes scattered around the map randomly, but you can usually find them close to where you spot Klombos. Klomberry bushes look like blue raspberries. Like other fruits and vegetables (and fungi), eating a Klomberry will restore a little of your health.

You can also buy Klomberries from the NPC Haven for 25 gold bars. You’ll find her in the southwest of the island west of Chonker’s Speedway. Klomberry bushes also tend to spawn nearby.

With the new 19.10 Patch, there’s also a new Milestone Quest that requires you to “Feed 5 Klomberries to a Klombo." Once you’ve found or bought your Klomberries and have found a Klombo, equip the Klomberries, hold the left trigger to aim, and then hit the right trigger to throw them on the ground in front of your dinosaur friend. They’ll suck them up, and might shoot a reward out of their blowhole.

Throw a Klomberry while standing within 10 meters of a Klombo

You can complete the Week 7 Season Quest “Throw a Klomberry while standing within 10 meters of a Klombo” using the same methods and information above: First, find Klomberries, and then find Klombos.

How to tame Klombos and get rewards (or fly into the sky)

Klombos aren’t aggressive unless you attack them. When they’re threatened, they turn red and throw a tantrum. You can calm them down by feeding them Klomberries.

Feeding Klombos Klomberries doesn’t tame them in the same way as other wildlife — they won’t follow you or fight for you. If you feed them enough Klomberries, though, they will spit out (through their blowhole) items like ammo or Medical Kits.

Any non-aggressive Klombo can also shoot you high into the sky. Run around to their back end, and hop up on their tail. Make your way forward to their head where you’ll find a blowhole. Stand there for a second, and you’ll get shot into the sky — high enough that you can use you glider. Luckily, though, getting shot out of a Klombo’s blowhole doesn’t deal fall damage.

Are Klombos still in Fortnite?

The vibe in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is everything fans hoped it would be. However, the all-new season isn't all rainbows and unicorns. With the ridable wolves having arrived on the island, players were expecting to see their dear Klombos return as well.

Where does the Fortnite monster spawn?

They spawn from The Storm or can be found sleeping around the map during missions. When sleeping, they will be awoken if the player approaches them, attempts to loot nearby materials, or attacks them or other nearby monsters. When going into harder Power Level missions, monsters can become elemental.

How many Klombos are there in Fortnite?

That being said, after a lot of digging and searching, there are only three Klombos that you will see spawning in any given match. Most importantly, these Klombos don't really move away from their spawn point too much. If they do, there's a high chance that a player lured them to wherever you're seeing them currently.
