When to travel to Tuscany?

For all summer holidaymakers Tuscany offers the most pleasant temperatures in the summer months of June, July and August, very little rain and ideal conditions for a beach holiday in coastal regions such as Livorno. Summer is therefore undoubtedly the best time to travel in Tuscany, but the transition months such as May and October are also impressive with mild temperatures and sunshine.

They are therefore perfect for extensive explorations of the surroundings, visits to cultural cities and sights. During the autumn travel season you can observe the harvest of olives as well as the grape harvest. In principle, the holiday regions are much less visited in spring and autumn than in the high season in high summer.
