What does the Bible say about disrespecting?"Honor thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee" (Deuteronomy 5:16a). Disrespectful actions of children, no matter their age, are abhorred by God, and there's no place that's worse to see the disrespectful actions of children than in a homeschooling family.
Should you respect your elders?Being patient in difficult situations can be exhausting, but showing our elders' respect is always the best choice. It's important to remember to be not only considerate but also polite to people whose bodies and minds are aging, simply because of the hands of time.
What does the Bible say about disrespecting parents?Proverbs 30:17 says: “The eye that mocks a father, that scorns obedience to a mother, will be pecked out by ravens of the valley, will be eaten by the vultures.”
