What are the gold streaks in Elden Ring?

If you’re curious to learn more about yellow lines that often show up on the Elden Ring map, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s explore what they mean and how you can use them in the game.

The yellow lines on the Elden Ring map indicate the main story path or the main objectives of each region. They usually points towards the next grace spot in the main journey. If you’re in a dungeon, the yellow lines lead to the boss you need to tackle.

Long story short, the yellow lines in Elden Ring point to where you need to go. Think of them as markers for the main quest. But they don’t exclusively point to main quests, they also lead to important treasures and locations where you can find handy items.

The yellow lines on the Elden Ring map are permanent, they don’t disappear once you’ve completed the quest or reached the Site of Grace they were pointing to.

And now you know.

The ones that point outwards from lost graces. Are they pointing to the nearest one?

They are there to tell you where your objective is for story progression

I'm going to hee-ho down your neck.
I'm kidding. Maybe. Relax.

^ This, they always point you in the direction you should be going for plot progression. They pretty much always lead to a grace point which continues to light the path

My escape is death, but not this one.

It shows the direction to the nearest main quest. So the ones in the beginning will point towards Stormveil and lead you to

Godrick one of the main story bosses and an absolute madman.

Mr and Mrs 9/5/15, Father on 6/19/16, 1/3/19, 3/7/22.

@Ikasnu is correct.

There are also statues that will have a smaller blue streak that lead to caves/dungeons once you examine them.

Do the blue streaks show up on a map?

This isn't the greatest post in the world. This is just a tribute.
