Wander beauty on-the-glow blush and illuminator review

Honestly, I never thought I’d see the day that I’d become “easy breezy”. However, this pandemic has introduced me to not only yoga pants as every day clothes, but also the no makeup life. Although I’m still far from easy breezy, I’m loving having a lower maintenance beauty routine. So when Wander Beauty reached out and asked if I’d be interested in trying some of their best selling multi tasking beauty products, I immediately said yes.

Now I’ll let you guys in on a little blogger “behind the scenes.” Sometimes, you hear bloggers say something like “Oh my gosh, look at this cute package XYZ brand just sent me!” And a lot of people think “Why are you surprised? You had to have given them your address!” Well, let me tell you. There are different levels of surprises when it comes to PR packages. For example, Wander Beauty asked if they could send products, but didn’t tell me what they were going to send. So when I opened the package, I was SO excited to see the On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator stick!

The Wander Beauty On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator is $42 and available at Sephora, Nordstrom, and Wander Beauty. It is a two in one blush and highlighter stick that comes in four different shade combos. The one shown in this post is Petal Pink. To be sure, this little cutie has been on my Sephora wish list for a very long time. Not only is the packaging substantial and super classy, but you guys know how I feel about multi tasking products. Of course, using multi taskers doesn’t mean I’m using less products…. But rather my beloved products just take up less space.

As for the product itself, the color payoff is insane. In fact, this might be the most pigmented stick blush I’ve ever used. Usually, cream blushes can be super light, transparent, and hard to build to a nice color. However, this one is super easy to blend and wore well. Even though I liked the blush, the highlighter is the real standout. Not only is it a super natural shimmery (non glittery!) highlight, but the one in the Petal Pink stick is a super pretty rosy champagne that’s neutral enough for warm or cool toned skin. Both the blush and illuminator were a perfect match for my skin tone.

Along with the Wander Beauty blush and highlighter duo stick, they also sent me their Fluid Foundation, Lip Retreat Oil, Glow Getter Mist, and their Baggage Claim eye masks. For today’s look, I also included the Wander Beauty Unlashed mascara that I already owned. (You can read my full review of the mascara here.)

One of my favorite things about these Wander Beauty multitaskers is how versatile they are. In fact, I’m wearing the exact same makeup in both the picture above and the one below. I love when one look is universal enough for a cute outfit or a plain white tee. Actually, I love this On-The-Go Blush and Highlighter stick so much that I even wore it with mascara and a shimmery eyeshadow to take my niece to the pool this weekend. Yep. I’m that girl. You guys know I don’t go anywhere without mascara! To be fair, although I’m wearing less and more casual makeup, I did say I’m still far from easy breezy. 😉

Overall Ranking (out of 5) –
Wander Beauty On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator – 4.5 –
I love this little blush and highlighter stick duo. Even better, it comes in four different shades so you’re more likely to find a great match for your skin tone. However, there’s not a whole ton of product in the stick for the cost. Although the amount does seem to be on par with other blush and illuminator stick duos.

XOXO,
Tiffany
