TCC’s Bottom Line

The 2017 Acura RDX is one of the smoothest, most responsive-driving compact crossover SUVs—even though it prioritizes practicality. As a style-conscious statement of indulgence, the Lexus RX shines like never before. Its looks are polarizing and it's not all that fun to drive even in F Sport form, but the RX continues to excel in many ways.

TCC Likes

  • Smooth ride
  • Strong V-6 performance
  • Agile handling

  • Eye-catching design
  • Refined interior
  • Solid power

TCC Dislikes

  • Back seat is a little cramped
  • Rear seats don't fold flat
  • Annoying audio and forward-collision beeps

  • Polarizing looks
  • Expensive with options
  • F-Sport rides very firmly
