Show 5.0 out of 5 stars a space saving, high quality, efficient, and so money saving appliance. I was lucky enough to find a multifunctional microwave that I wasn't expecting. We are always looking for an air fryer. Lately, we had some problems with our microwave. The 7 in 1 is perfect for us. Initially, I was concerned that it would be too complicated to use. Today, I tried it. It was so successful. I follow the instruction to clean before use. The stainless steel interior is smooth and easy to clean with dish Detergent and wet cloth. First, I made French fries by using broil setting. Some light smell appeared in about 5-10 min, but did not appear again when I cook next dish. The second is the chicken legs by using the bake setting. Those were definitely more efficient than the countertop small oven, in terms of faster, even cooking, and crispy. Last, using microwave to heat food. I choose P100, and felt it heats up quickly. No splash at all dishes. I really felt a sense of accomplishment. The device is quiet in all settings. I could barely hear a few steps away, so I thought it was done cooking, while it was still running. I have not tried sound off yet, that may even better.Another part which I like is the nonstick Bake tray. On the bottom of this tray, I find a layer of soft silicon like material. I like it because it exhibits the function of cushion, heat isolation, noisy reduction, and scratch resistance.I can't wait for trying other ways, such as Combi, Auto, cake bake, etc.I have to give it five stars. This is definitely a space saving, high quality, efficient, and so money saving appliance. Reviews with imagesTop reviews from the United StatesThere was a problem filtering reviews right now. there are annoyances: Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2022 Very impressed with the quality of this microwave. It works great, it's quiet compared to the old one that I had for years. Also, this microwave came with many functions, such as air fryer, boiler, baking, defrost, regular microwave, etc. It does this by offering you three levels to cook your food. The first is the regular glass "plate" that you will be used to in any mircowave. If you want to bake, you put in a low rack on the plate (which they provide of course) so that air can circulate around your baked goods without having the item too close to the top heating unit. To broil, you add the taller rack so the food is closer to the heating element. I have broiled with the tall rack while baking an item underneath it with good success as well. I have not used the yogurt making function, or any of the "Combi-Modes" as I have not needed to. Its one failing is that it does not defrost very well, but neither did my former microwave. So far it’s working great for me. I am still testing out out other functions in this microwave. Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2022 I like how this microwave have many different functions including air fryer, it save me lot of money buying another air fryer also save me in space, one machine does everything. It comes with air fryer tools too Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2022
Let me tell you this thing cooks. I read some reviews complaining about moisture accumulation during microwaving. This is a good thing not a bad thing. It traps all the moisture in the cooking chamber so that it does not dry out the food. Microwaves work by heating up water molecules in the food. As they heat they vaporize. If it were completely dry, then all the moisture would have escaped or it doesn’t work. Once 100% humidity is reached it will stop drying out the food as the moisture would not evaporate. So again seeing moisture accumulation is good during microwave function. Broil bake works better than any countertop oven I have had. In fact it works almost as well as the top oven in my kitchenaid double oven that costs 4500$. I am just using this during the renovations. But I will definitely keep it to use in my new kitchen because it heats up so fast and is great for smaller items. Combi cook is pretty awesome. It uses the bake and microwave functions together. It keeps things crispy on the outside while quickly heating them to the core. Defrost is also fantastic. Defrosts a full chicken breast without actually cooking any of it. Super great. I have not used the sensor cook function yet. The only con is that I don’t think it’s something children or anyone not intelligent enough about metal in a microwave. It comes with racks and such but you CANNOT use them in microwave function. They will spark. This is the reason I think most companies don’t make a microwave combo. User error. But if you are smart enough not to be dumb then you will love it. If you are a foodie cook on a budget, you will love this product! Is Toshiba a good microwave?Of all the midsize microwaves built by Midea around the same core components, the Toshiba EM131A5C is our favorite. It has a handful of useful features that are uncommon in this popular size and price range. There's the door handle (instead of a button), which is a little easier to open and to clean.
