How to Unlock All Characters in Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete EditionThere are seven characters you can play as in Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition, though only three of them require you to complete specific conditions to unlock them. This is because the first four are unlocked automatically when you start the game, and serve as the base playable characters. These include Scott Pilgrim, Kim Pines, Steven Stills, and Ramona Flowers. The other three you can unlock for play are Wallace Wells, Nega Scott and Knives Chau. The first two have the same unlock requirements as in the original Scott Pilgrim The Game, Wallace Wells unlocks after you beat the game’s story mode with any of the starter characters, while Nega Scott is unlocked by completing the story with all four starter characters. Knives, on the other hand, is unlocked in a slightly different way due to her being included in the Complete Edition without requiring the purchase of DLC. You’ll need to sign into a Uplay account while at the game’s title screen, and start the game while logged into the service. When you do, Knives will automatically be added to your roster of playable characters. How to Unlock More Striker CharactersIt’s also worth noting that, like the original game, Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition includes other ally characters you can unlock to use in place of Knives for Striker attacks; namely, her father and mother. These characters are unlocked by defeating Knives’ father when he appears on the world map as a secret boss. He’ll appear randomly after you complete the fourth level as any of the four starter characters, and will show up as a sprite you can run into on the overworld map. If you have trouble getting him to spawn, replay the fourth level from start to finish until he appears.  Once he appears, move your sprite to him and the boss battle will trigger instantly. He’s fairly easy to overcome once you’ve obtained high enough stats, so if you’re struggling to defeat him, consider purchasing some items to increase you attack, defense and other attributes. Once you’ve defeated him, you’ll then be able to summon him and Mrs. Chau into battle by pressing the Striker Attack button; namely, the L1 Button on PlayStation 4, LB on Xbox One, and the L Button on Nintendo Switch. However, the chance of them appearing instead of Knives is determined by RNG, meaning you can’t ensure they’ll show up repeatedly. Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game may be a simple game to play but that doesn’t mean the strength of its characters doesn’t matter. There are certain aspects of enemies that some of the cast can deal with better than others. For instance, guarding is a pesky mechanic that can impede you from progressing as fast as you’d like. Kim can pin most bosses to a wall and slap them until they’re out for the count. She can also juggle entire groups of enemies at once. On top of that, her slaps cannot be blocked. Not only that, she’s got the best – and possibly the only viable – long-range gameplan of any of the characters. These qualities make Kim Pine the best character in the game. Ramona is capable of summoning items from her bag at the cost of a few guts points, but that in itself isn’t a huge advantage. There are plenty of items lying around each level and it’s more efficient to kill enemies using normal combos. Overall, she’d be pretty even with Scott if not for her ability to go into Hyper mode by using her striker. Top moves:
Though Scott is the protagonist of the game (his name’s on the box, after all), he’s not as strong as one might expect. In fact, he’s quite boring save for one particular quality. His rush punch has guard-breaking properties which is enough to place him above the low-tier characters. Low TierNegaScottTop moves:

While NegaScott is a cool-looking character and can hold his own with his knee rush, he’s ultimately one of the weakest characters because he lacks a guard break. To top it off, despite its positive, the knee attack itself leaves him vulnerable for a bit after he’s done executing it. Stephen’s got decent offensive capabilities, but he gets guarded often and he’s vulnerable for a split second after he executes his strongest move. Another downside to him is his special move which just doesn’t do the job it’s intended for. While these specials aren’t meant to do high damage, the point is to knock away a bunch of enemies who have surrounded you. Stephen’s move can do this but it doesn’t do it as well as the spinning attack all the other characters have. Bonus: Best StrikerMr. Chau is hands down the best Striker in the game, the one exception perhaps being Ramona’s. Once summoned, he teleports to individual enemies and takes a lethal swipe at them before porting to the next one. Overall, he’s a very abusable Striker and once you unlock him, you’ll have no need for another! How do you unlock Nega Scott?You must beat the game with each of the 4 characters on one single PSN profile. You must use the same profile and play through the entire game with all 4 characters to unlock Negascott.
Are there multiple endings to Scott Pilgrim vs the World game?Yet the team somehow managed to give every character their own ending. While short, they are appreciated all the same and easy to accomplish. All one has to do is beat the final boss with a character and their ending will be unlocked.
Why was Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game removed?Due to licensing issues, the game was pulled from digital storefronts merely four years after its release in 2010. Until today, only those who purchased the game during this period (and have maintained the console it is stored on) have been able to experience it.
