Method 1:Reset by code

This code will restore you phone back to Factory settings without deleting any of your data

To reset your phone just simply dial:
#*7728#
for legacy models
*2767*3855#
on the recent modesl (Monte, Omnia..etc)


The security code will be reset to 0000.
This will allow you to format the phone easily.




Note: Some model may not support this code,


Method 2: Manual reset setting.

Go to "Setting" from menu
then go to "privacy settings"
Now find out "Factory Data Reset" and click on it.
Now your phone will display "Enter security code"
Enter your security code here.

Most of the phones default code is 00000000 (8 zero) 
Some models code is 0000 (4 zero)

Set your Samsung Galaxy Mobile Screen Lock for the First Time

Pattern: Pattern lock is the most secure lock in Android device. This system allows you to unlock your phone screen using a pattern. At first, you need to draw it with your finger. If it is the first time for you to set an unlock pattern, you will see a tutorial with instructions on how to do it.
Go to - Settings  > Lock screen & Security > Pattern

So at first, you have to follow the tutorial, and then tap Next Button. Finally, Draw your pattern (connect at least 4 dots) and tap Continue. Then redraw your pattern and tap Confirm.
