I bought this machine in Feb 2022 after my previous Samsung of 7 years showed signed that it was coming to its end (would give an error message 75% of the time). I never had issues with the previous machine so assumed this one would be at least as good as the old one due to it being newer. you know what they say about assuming. With this new machine I found that I had to wash everything 2-3 times to get them clean. To make things worse I have a 2 year old who wears cloth nappies, as this machine couldn't clean my tee shirts you can imagine how bad a job it did on those! I have tried multiple washing powders and all the different cycles and am still of the opinion that this machine is not worth the space it now takes up in my garage. Samsung sent a technician who ran it through a diagnostic on his phone and because the drum spun and the water came in it was deemed to be working within specs. Therefore not suitable for families with children. When samsung refused to replace or refund the machine I chose to reconnect my old machine which only turned on some of the time as it gave better results than this one. I have since bought a second hand, bottom of the range machine for $100 which also has no issues cleaning my 2 year old's clothes. The Samsung repairer inspected and Samsung advised its been caused by a "foreign object" being in the wash and therefore would not remedy this issue via warranty of which I paid extra for. I washed sheets, not a large load so was very surprised by this. Have owned a Samsung washer for 10 years prior to this and therefore purchased one again.
