Red dead redemption 2 fort Wallace Red circle

I know there’s a slim chance you’re gonna see this but I’m outside fort Wallace right now, on my second play through heading to corrota springs to get the jack hill gang treasure. I’m doing a low honornolay through this time around so that doesn’t bother me, but shooting of the guards and looting them at fort Wallace, do they have decent money, and will I be able to find any cigarette cards/weapons? I’m in chapter 2 btw

I'm in chapter 3. It's been there since I discovered that area during C2. is it just a gang hideout?

I haven’t ventured in, but my guess is it’s the military since it’s a fort. Probably like the military bases in GTA, you probably get an instant wanted.

Yeah, made an attempt... couldn’t find an open entrance and the guards were displeased with my presence... although I did kill a sentry with a throwing knife before they noticed me

you go there eventually but it'll always stay red, it's an army base and they don't want you sniffing around. same with the penitentiary island.
