I wondered this

I think so, but I think you have to fully complete the mission for it to count. So you can't drop into a mission, complete a challenge, then back out of the mission.

It's why it was made to begin with

Yes, you can complete the challenges in mission replays… It's how I got most of my gold medals this way.

Not the gold medals, we mean the challenges, I couldn't get the knife one to pop, killed 3 people in 10 seconds, nothing.

Can you do them during missions the first time you play them?

I got that one during the side-mission where you rob the Dr at Valentine

I know it's your opinion, but your opinion is wrong.

Oh that would be a great one as there's like 4 people close to each other, to bad I've done it, can't be back replayed. Can you do it In dead eye ? That's how I tried

No, dead eye won't work coz it will end after first.

I think killing animals also works. On my second playthrough I got it on pigs in Valentine. Other option is to hogtie 3 enemies and get it on them.

Can you replay missions in RDR2 after main Story?

When you replay a mission it doesn't effect anything from your progress. It basically places a default Arthur in play, ie, gunslinger outfit regardless of what you were wearing at time of missions. It's purely for getting the gold achievements, it won't effect your main story.

Do you lose progress after replaying a mission RDR?

If you choose to replay a mission from the "Story" screen (in which case you get to replay and complete that mission using a default horse and loadout, and any pickups/stats you build in that mission will be lost when the mission completes)

Is it worth completing challenges RDR2?

The individual Challenges themselves can be very rewarding. Players' Health, Stamina and Dead Eye stats slowly level up from doing various activities throughout the game, but each set of Challenges are also each keyed to a stat — Hunting, Weapons Expertise and Herbalism are associated with Health.

Do you get money from replaying missions RDR2?

You can only get the cash reward once per mission. Replaying the same mission will net you a bunch of experience, but no cash.
