Nobody Saves the World NG+ stars

I have 1 dungeon left for the final shard piece but it requires 55 stars and I only have 50. Any idea where I can pick up 5 stars? I think I have all the other dungeons cleared and they usually give 10 stars.

Edit: figured out that I hadn't discovered the Dark Nest dungeon and that was what I was missing. Apparently the vendor doesn't sell the location for that one. Thanks everyone, I am on my way to having this game 100% completed!

Nobody Saves the World is a fast-paced action RPG that was recently released on Xbox and PC. Nobody Saves the World takes players through various stages of finding all the different forms available and using the chosen form’s abilities and skills to tackle enemies and get out of sticky situations. You will also need to collect Stars, which we will see how to do just that in this guide.

Nobody Saves the World – How to Farm Stars in the Game

Stars are somewhat of an in-game currency in Nobody Saves the World, but it is used to unlock dungeons only, and serve no other purpose. Here we will see how to get Stars in Nobody Saves the World.

When you start the game, you will be tasked with numerous quests, and upon completion, you will be rewarded with Stars. While the number of Stars you would need starts off small, as you progress through the game, you will see that you will be needing more of them. Most quests usually will give out just one or two Stars, but if you are looking to farm more Stars, it is best to go for the various Forms’ quests instead. Each Form quest just takes up a few minutes of your time and is fairly easy, like using the abilities of your chosen Form to take down enemies. Doing multiple of these quests will help you rake up as many Stars as you need. To know how many Stars a quest will give out, you can go and check it in the quest menu, which will give you all the details of the quest. While doing these quests, you can also level up your Forms and even unlock new ones.

Another way you can get Stars is when you clear out dungeons and complete multi-step quests. You can also purchase Stars from vendors for $500 for each Star. But we warned, you won’t get so lucky all the time, as Stars are sometimes in short supply from merchants.

These are some of the ways you can get Stars in Nobody Saves the World. You can also check out all our other game guides to know more.

Why fight and deal with difficult dungeon conditions when you can just run through and beat NG+ in under 4 hours?

Assuming you have every form S-ranked already, you can run through every dungeon and skip most of the enemies using this build:

    Form: Ghost
    Passive:
    Spooky (locked)
Scavenge, switch to Hardened Shell for 9999 Damage dungeons
Horsepower, switch to either Magic Life or Mermaid's Resolve for Signature Hits Don't Regenerate Mana dungeons
Zomnomnom, switch to Poison Dampener on Status Duration dungeons
    Active:

    : Boo (locked)
Nobody Saves the World NG+ stars
    : Ethereal
Nobody Saves the World NG+ stars
: Gallop (for Impact) or Holy Light (for Light mobs)
Nobody Saves the World NG+ stars
: Dodge (for Sharp) or Water Spray (for Light single enemies)

The goal is to run through dungeons as quickly as you can with Boo activated (to keep generating mana) while holding down

Nobody Saves the World NG+ stars
to keep Ethereal up. This allows you to run to staircases and clear floors or double back and and grab keys if necessary. Change your passives as described above based on the dungeon modifiers. Use Hardened Shell on the x9999 dungeons just in case you take a random hit, but even if you do it's not a big deal since each dungeon takes 5 minutes or less using this method.

There are only a few instances where you will need to fight enemies:

    1. Rooms where spikes come up from the floor and you're locked into a fight
    2. Floors where you have to kill x number of enemies to unlock a gate
    3. Dungeons where you have to break wards to regenerate mana
    4. The boss room of each dungeon.

For those above instances, if the enemies are weak to Dark, you're already going to hurt them with Ethereal. If they're weak to Impact or Sharp, using Gallop or Dodge lets you quickly knock out their ward while barely leaving yourself vulnerable, and then you can go back to Ethereal and finish them off. Holy Light works great for enemies weak to Light, but there were a couple instances where I was low on mana and found Water Spray was more efficient to use. Either way the strategy is the same--keep your mana up, knock down wards quickly, and keep using Ethereal to kill everything.

EDIT 3/28/22: In the comments, GrowShah recommends using Mana Shield and Melee Mitigation in the All Healing x0 dungeons if you're unable to run through and avoid damage using my suggestions above.
