I'm thinking that this is going to be my next wheelset, but can't afford it until fall.

I have a pair being built.  I’ll report back after I ride them.

Same here, though I got the taller rim for the rear (50).  Putting Conti 32s on them and will use as street/light gravel.

Anyone riding these rims/wheels or have any thoughts on these?  Seem like a good match for gravel and connecting pavement with a 25mm internal width and 38 depth.

        I have a set of the WR35 / WR45s. I use them with 30c tires.

I also have a set of the AR versions I use for 38c tires. They've been flawless over thousands of miles. The disc brake carbon rims aren't as risky as the rim brake ones.

I had a DT Swiss G1800 (G540) gravel rim and the WR rims sitting next to one another bare. The carbons are waaayyyy over built relative to an AL rim. The only downside here is the wait time, so I'd consider pointing out toward their US warehouse - the wheels are slightly more expensive, but you save on shipping.

I've got about 1k miles on my WR 38's.  Nice wheel set.  I bought them to see what carbon was like compared to my 3 aluminum rim wheel sets - which are all in the $700-900 price range.  I prefer the WR's looks and "echo-y" sound while rolling, but other than that, I'm on the fence as to whether or not they're overall better than my two DT 350/ Astral Wanderlust wheel sets.  Also, the DT 350's with 54T ratchets are way louder on the WR 38's than on the aluminum rims.

Did you get your wheels?  Any ride to report?

Yes, they came. true, and beautiful.  I put Conti GP5000 32c on them, and am amazed (as a mt bike rider and no road bike since the 80s) how little rolling resistance. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I've got the wr38 with dtswiss 180 hub. With GP5000 32c they are great. I have put about 8k on mine, no issues.

I have 5 sets of LB wheels between 4 bikes.  My latest was WR45's as "Road" wheels for my gravel bike.  Like all their other wheels, they just do their job.  DT hubs.  Not super light, but not heavy.  Shipped from Vancouver BC in a week.  Can't say enough good things about LB.

I'm a big advocate of LB wheels too. They're not as cheap as they used to be, but I have found that you generally get what you pay for when buying rims from smaller brands or factory-direct.  I have had no negative experiences and have built over a dozen (probably closer to 20) LB wheelsets now, between my own rims and rims for friends, etc.

I had a set of WR38 that I sold with my last gravel bike. They were great.  Laced to SRAM 900 hubs which are a great value hub.

My road bike has WR50 rims (hooked bead) laced to WI hubs that I ride with 28mm Conti GP5000S tires.  These measure out to 31mm or so on those rims.  Those are the flyweight rims which have been fantastic.  Rim weight was right at 400g, so really light for those dimensions.

My new rowdy gravel bike is running XC725 (650B) rims laced to some random hubs that I had on hand (Stans Neo Ultimate rear and DT350 front). Those are mated to 2.3" tires, so the i25 width makes sense (and probably could be even bigger).  I have 2 sets of AR36 wheels for my everyday commuter / cyclocross / gravel bike, one on Novatec hubs one on Hope Pro4 hubs.  Those have been great. Novatec hubs do feel cheaper, missing pawl engagement every now and then, but have worked hard for years now without failing.

And finally my MTB has the 50mm (i40mm) carbon 27.5 rims laced to SRAM 900 boost hubs and mated to 3.0" tires.

So lots of LB wheels, also can't recommend them enough.  Absolutely love the Falcon Pro finish,, but the satin finish on the AR rims looks fantastic too. About to build myself a set of those I had ordered with custom graphics.  I also have a new set of the WR465 xflow rims to build, though I may sell those as I'm not sure where they will go 🙂

Yes, right now lead time is crazy on these rims.  Even if they're in stock the MTS shipping takes a month to US.
