Jon's producer is denied reentry to the US after Jon pulls a prank, and Jon shares his story about drug lord Manta Blanca. Description Jon Benjamin Has a Van is a satirical comedy series starring H. Jon Benjamin (as himself), Leo Allen, and Nathan Fielder. Together they form a news group who travel around America in a van, reporting on what they believe will be trivial local stories. Each episode takes the form of a news program and focuses on a different innocent-sounding story such as a report on the local Italian community, or an interview with a theater producer. The news team then become involved in fantastic and outlandish adventures including kidnapping, Satanists, and gypsy curses. In one episode Jon accidentally kills two alien children while investigating Area 51, and ends up in court facing the death penalty. In another he is bitten by a Jewish motorist in a bout of road rage and wakes up the next day confused to find he has been turned into an Orthodox Jew.
