By the first half of the first episode I really enjoyed the anime completely. That was further reinforced upon watching episode 2.

I thoroughly enjoy anime’s like SAO and The time I was Reincarnated as a Slime. The concept just appeals to me completely. I’m also very ‘weak’ to the idea of the medieval, knight/mages concept.

The story does get better as the episodes progress, with some decent fight scenes. Unfortunately it does still revolve a little too much around just how amazing the protagonist is. It was entertaining enough to keep me watching, but it didn't have me biting my nails as I waited for new episodes.
