Five Nights at Candy's 4 (working title) is a upcoming fourth installment of the Five Nights at Candy's series developed by Emil Macko. Five Nights at Candy's 4 will be the fourth and last game of the Five Nights at Candy's series. Forgotten Candy is confirmed to be the main antagonist of the game.
Five Nights at Candy's 4 and the previous games in the series will be officially ported to consoles and mobiles sometime in the future, with the only exception being the original Five Nights at Candy's, which will be replaced by Five Nights at Candy's Remastered. The game will still be released on Game Jolt for free.[2]
Development
Since around December 2017-January 2018, Emil Macko decided to make one more Five Nights at Candy's game as he had new mechanic ideas in mind. However, he never announced the game until later on, so he would not cancel the game to let everyone down. On June 2018, he uploaded a picture which contains a puzzle, solving it will lead to a private video on his YouTube channel, teasing the fourth Five Nights at Candy's game. At the end of August, Emil revealed that the game will feature free-roaming, as opposed to the previous Five Nights at Candy's games.[citation needed]
Around early 2020, Emil launched the game's Game Jolt page, but the name Five Nights at Candy's 4 is a working title. The game's page also reveals what content and features this game would include:
- The game will be a point-and-click free-roam game inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.
- The game will mostly be non-linear in structure, and will include some replay value.
- The game's graphics will be completely rendered with a new modern software.
- Candy will be the main antagonist this time.
- There will be minigames to play.
- This game will have nothing to do with Mary Schmidt from the previous games, as her story is completely wrapped-up. Instead, the game will heavily focus on the background and lore of the robotics factory - Rowboatics Corp.
Later on 2020, Emil reveals that the game will have the largest cast of characters out of all previous games, both people and animatronics. There will be not only new counterparts of the pre-existing robots but also brand-new animatronics.[3]
On August 2020, with the following announcement of the Fazbear Fanverse initiative, Emil uploaded a new teaser of Forgotten Candy with the Mini Candies.
On February 2022, Emil posted his mini update status about the game. His announcement has a small hidden message in it, and combining all the bold-texted letters will have a message that says "DontForget".[4]
On April 1st, 2022, the trailer video was uploaded. However, when the trailer starts to play, it quickly turns out to be an April Fool's prank, swiftly skipping to Emil Macko making up stories and doing digital art doodles of Candy and friends. Although, towards the end of the video, Emil drew what looks like a peppermint (which he refers as a fan), and when the video is about to end, for a split second, a static scene displays the peppermint drawing along with the message that reads "See you soon!". This heavily hints the return of Lollipop. Judging by the similarities in their plot, it can be retroactively assumed that this trailer was secretly a teaser for FNaC Fur.
