This is not possible. Minecraft: Pocket Edition is for devices only, and PC or Windows 10 Editions are completely separate from MCPE. You will have to buy the PC version or not play it at all.

Hope this helps!

How to transfer Minecraft from phone to PC

Pocket Edition (which is avaliable on phones) and Java Edition (which is mainly used on PC) are different games with different features, which are not compatible.

You will have to buy each version (PC, Console, PE) separately.

There is a Windows 10 Edition which is basically PE edition ported on PC, and it is free for Java version owners. But not for other version owners.

For Android Device:

Android File Transfer (best for mac users) ( Android to Android via mac)

  1. Download "Android File Transfer" from google.com. Go through the steps of making it into an application

Link: https://www.android.com/intl/en_us/filetransfer/ (***)

2. Plug in your device through USB

3. Open the Android File Transfer****

4. Go to Apps (Locate the app list) > Minecraft > /games > /com.mojang > /minecraftWorlds > then locate your world

5. Copy and paste (Or drag-and-drop) your world file into a USB External Hard Drive, the desktop or to a flash drive. Eject the device if you just want to copy it.

6. To put the file, into another android device, use android file transfer but plug in the other device. Then do step 4 but just stop on the list of worlds under /minecraftWorlds.

7. You will then drag your copied world file and drop it into the list of worlds. DONT PUT IT INSIDE A WORLD. PUT IT UNDER /minecraftWorlds

8. Eject the device

Note: this only works for mac user if you use this Android file transfer method

****Note: Make sure your device is unlocked (meaning its in the home screen not the lock screen)

Recap: Steps 1-5 is for copying the world file. Step 6-7 is to paste the world file into another device.

FOR PC (without android file transfer) (android to android via PC)

  1. Make sure your device’s screen is unlocked.

  2. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.

NOTE: If you’re asked to select a USB connection on your device, choose Media device (MTP).

3. Use the File Transfer window that pops up on your computer to drag and drop files, just like other external devices. Doing this process you will locate your app folder (where it house all your apps) > Minecraft > /games > /com.mojang > /minecraftWorlds > then locate your world. Copy the world file (either drag it and dropping it or copy and paste it using ctrl + C)

4. Eject your device from Windows, then unplug the USB cable.

5. Do steps 1-3 again for your other device (the device you want to paste the copied world into) but instead drag the copied world file into the /minecraftWorlds.

6. Then eject the device

Recap: Steps 1-3 is to copy your world. Steps 5 is to paste your world into another device. Step 4,6 is just for ejecting the device

For People who wants to transfer between iOS and Android:

iOS to Android (via/for mac and pc)

  1. Open iTunes. If you don't have iTunes download it

  2. Plug in your device into the computer via the lightning connector (USB Cable)

  3. Click on your device. An icon should appear displaying your device

  4. Go to apps

  5. Scroll all the way down until you find iTunes file sharing

  6. Take that /games and drag it (copy it) into your desktop

NOTE: You must have MCPE v0.11 or else file sharing won't recognize MCPE

7. Search for your world and copy it ( put it into the desktop).

Skip this part: Paste the file into an external hard drive or other storage if you don't want to put into another device and eject the device, do this if you don't want to put the world file into another hard drive.

8. Open up android file transfer (or for pc, a popup like in the "PC Method" will display the file transfer) and plug in your android device

9. Locate your mcpe worlds save and paste the copied world into it

10. eject device

RECAP: Steps 1-7 is to copy the world file from your iOS device. Steps 8-10 is to paste the item into your android device

FOR Android to iOS

NOTE: You can't do it because you need an additional file explorer to paste the copied world into the iOS Side. iOS 8.3 and above breaks iExplorer and other file explorers from modifying an app file. If Explorer is fixed, then you would do the same thing as android file transfer/pc side of pasteting the item. But for now you can't transfer worlds from Android to iOS

NOTE There is a way in doing android to iOS as of 1/12/16. This only work if your windows computer has windows xp, vista, and 7 (windows 8 , 8.1 and 10 does not work according to apple). Here's how:

  1. Plug your android device into your computer

  2. Open up Android File Transfer

  3. Find your world (look at above if you can't find it)

  4. Copy and paste into your desktop

  5. Close Android File Transfer and eject your android device

  6. Now plug your iOS device into your computer

  7. Open up iTunes and search for iTunes File Sharing

  8. Click on Minecraft

  9. Drag and drop your world that you got from your android device onto the app Minecraft (better if you add into the games file itself but iTunes automatically insert it)

  10. OR you can use the "add" function

  11. Eject your device and quit out of iTunes

  12. Enjoy

iOS to iOS

Requirements: Latest version of iTunes, Latest iOS version, Windows 7 and below, and Latest Mac OS X

  1. Plug in your first iOS Device onto your computer (the one you want to extract that world file into the other)

  2. Open up iTunes and search for iTunes File Sharing

  3. Find and Click on Minecraft

  4. Copy the games file onto your desktop

  5. Search your world from the games file and drag it out from your games file into your pc

  6. Eject your first iOS Device and plug in your 2nd one (the one you want to transfer into)

  7. Repeat steps 2 & 3

  8. Drag and drop your world into Minecraft games folder

  9. OR you can use the "add" function

  10. eject your device and quit out of iTunes
