How do I switch my Free Companys Grand Company association to a different faction? Go to the Grand Company Headquarters for the faction you want to realign with and speak to the OIC Administrator. There will be an option to change free company allegiance.

Posted by Camate on the forums: Its possible to change Grand Companies, but you need to be the proper rank to do so. Once reaching the rank of Second (Storm/Serpent/Flame) Lieutenant, youll be able to switch to a different Grand Company.

I accidentally join a free company of people that I do not know. I thought I was accepting a party join request (it was late and I wasn't paying attention). Where do I have to go on the UI to quit the FC?

If you open up the free company menu (default ";") there is a leave button at the bottom. You might have to go to the Roster tab.

I want to transfer to a new world because the world I am in now (Odin) the queue to get in is over 2.5k and for the third day I can't get in.

I want to transfer to Omega but because I am in a Free Company I can't. But because of the queue I cant login and leave the company. Is there anyway to do this on the internet or some other kind of way?

It would appear people don't read OP's. So far as I know the only way to leave is through the game itself.

He said he can't login. Reading helps.

As far as I know, you can't remove yourself from an FC without logging in. The only thing I can think of would be to ask someone else to remove you, if you have a way to contact them outside of the game. Otherwise, you'll just have to sit through the terrible queue.

Can you leave free companies ff14?

Go to the Info tab in the Free Company interface and there will be an option to leave the free company. Note you can't leave a free company if your chocobo is stabled or you have a private room.

You have to talk with a NPC to disband a FC, you can find the NPC at the Grand Compnay head quater which associated with your FC.

Yes, you can switch Grand Companies once you have reached the rank of Second Lieutenant by talking to an NPC in your Grand Company headquarters. Once you switch, you will no longer be able to use any existing Grand Company gear you have, and you'll start at the very beginning rank-wise for your new Grand Company.
