How to get Valor in Halo Infinite

The easiest way to earn Valor in Halo Infinite's campaign is simply by completing the main campaign missions. Many, but not all, of the campaign missions will give you 350 Valor upon completion, making the main story a solid way to boost the resources available at your FOBs.

However, when the campaign difficulty ramps up in the second half of the game, you'll probably want more options at your FOBs. That's where the bevy of sidequests comes in. Zeta Halo's open map has tons of side objectives for the Master Chief to complete in between the main campaign missions, which each earn you a different amount of Valor.

Propaganda Towers: 10 Valor
Rescuing UNSC Squads: 30 Valor
Side Missions (Like Ransom Keep): 100 Valor

When looking at a specific objective on the Tacmap, you can see how much Valor it rewards by looking at the number underneath the star-shaped symbol in the mission description.

FOBs and Target missions don't earn you Valor. The reward for a FOB is another fast travel location as well as icons revealed on your map, while taking out high-value targets will usually net you a powerful weapon.
