The Blacksmith is a gameplay feature of The City in Prodigy English. It allows players to upgrade their tools to be able to break different items.
Function
The three Prodigy English tools: Axe, Shovel, Pickaxe and Fishing Rodare accessible in the Blacksmith for potential upgrades. While the Shovel and Fishing Rod cannot be upgraded, the Axe and Pickaxe can reach greater levels if the player collects the materials needed to do so.
Upgrading Tools
In order to upgrade their tools, the player must collect the designated amount of materials needed to do so. Currently, the only level that the player can upgrade their tools to is level two.
Below is a list of the materials needed to upgrade the tools:
Upgrading Axe: The player must collect 45
Stones, 45 Wood, 45 Hardwood and have

Upgrading Pickaxe: The player must collect 45 Wood, 45 Stones, 45 Hardwood and have 18
Trivia
- The Blacksmith is neither an NPC nor a specific area, but it is only a feature.
- The Fishing Rod will have a tag placed on it saying 'New!' when the player views it inside the Blacksmith, as it was recently added to the game.

Pickaxe is a tool in Prodigy English.
Appearance
It is a pickaxe with a red ribbon wrapped around its seemingly wooden hilt. It has a grip on the handle.
In-Game Description
Level 1 "Used to break rocks."
Level 2 "Used to break ore rocks."
