1. With the vehicle on, use the vehicle touch screen to go to the list of paired devices.
2. Select the phone name.
3. Select Delete.
4. Confirm that the phone name has been removed from the list of paired devices.

Remove the vehicle from your phone’s list of paired devices:

1. In phone settings, choose Bluetooth.
2. Find the vehicle name in the list of paired devices.
3. Choose Delete or Forget This Connection.

After removing both connections:

1. Turn the vehicle off.
2. Open and close the vehicle door.
3. Wait two minutes.
4. Pair your phone to the vehicle again.

How do I disconnect the car kit from a Bluetooth device?

The Bluetooth connection between the car kit and Bluetooth device is automatically disconnected when you turn off the
vehicle. When the vehicle is powered down, the call is seamlessly transferred to the phone.

To manually disconnect the car kit from your phone:

Press and hold red (END) button for 2-6 seconds while not in a call.

The car kit attempts to form a Bluetooth paired link with the next available phone on its history list. If there are no other phones available, the car kit continues to look for any previously paired phone.

If you desire to reconnect the phone that was just disconnected, you must initiate the Bluetooth connection from the phone. See your phone's instruction manual for details.

Press red (END) button while not in a call.

The car kit attempts to form a Bluetooth paired link with the next available music device on its history list. If there are no other stereo devices available, the car kit continues to look for any music device that was previously paired.

If you desire to reconnect the music device that was just disconnected, you must initiate the pairing process from the music device. See your device's instruction manual for details.

To remove all paired devices from the car kit's history list:

Press and hold red (END) button for 6 seconds or longer while not in a call.

Once a device has been removed from the car kit's history list, it must be again before it can be used.

I have a new phone, it connects perfectly but I can't find how to remove the old one. Actually my partner's phone has been paired before and I want that one removed as well.

I don't mean "disconnect" I mean unpair them permanently.

it's under settings somewhere, where it list paired device.. select and delete.

There's a "Disconnect" but no delete, at least I can't see it. It's a ridiculous interface.

yes.. disconnect it first. then click on it again. delete will show up after you disconnect it.

Leo you're a star, sorry for your trip downstairs but that's the solution. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much I appreciate your help. I can normally sort these things out (I'm a web developer) but I was thinking too logically to see the solution.

Mate, I really must thank you again, it is now connecting almost instantly where before my new iPhone was the third in the list, so I guess it was trying the others first and taking a while to realise they don't exist any more.

Now I've got a similar issue connecting my iPhone, ever since upgrading the iOS to 8.02
Issue is whenever I connect my phone to the car it automatically tries to call my mum - seriously. That's the last call I attempted to make when connecting my phone.
I have tried unregistering it - that worked
it successfully re registers the phone, I can play music via Bluetooth but whenever I select "phone" it seems locked onto trying to call the last number ??
maybey it's the Apple iOS ?
any suggestions ??
