It also says that it’ll give you a butt lift INSTANTLY, which really all it did was irritate and burn my bum and make it bright red.
This anti cellulite booty mask is also very expensive. It’s almost $54 for a small 3.38-ounce jar!

Sadly, I was so letdown.

Texture/Feel
Maelys Cosmetics B-Tight Anti Cellulite Booty Mask comes out of the jar as a pink colored cream.
It’s pretty thick in consistency but still malleable.
It reminds me of a hair paste of sorts.
Application
Applying this booty mask is an actual pain in the butt.
It’s really messy, unsanitary, and rather annoying.
It comes in a jar and I hate having to dip my fingers in it over and over again.
It ended up having hair and all kinds of debris in it. GROSS!
The directions say to apply a generous amount to your booty and thighs up to two times per day.
It mimics a facemask and the product just sits on your skin.
So your booty and thighs have a light pink hue to them.
You wait a few minutes until the cream starts to heat up, burn, or tingle.
Rub in the cream until it’s fully absorbed. Don’t wash off the mask after you’ve rubbed it in.
I found that it was super hard to rub in sometimes if I waited a minute or so too long.
The cream wouldn’t rub in and was obvious on my skin. It even felt and looked crusty, which was not a cute look.
It says to avoid direct sunlight on your tush for up to 4 hours after application.
Drying Time
It only takes about 5 minutes for this mask to fully dry.
That’s why you have to rub it in right when you start to feel the burn or it’ll be almost impossible to fully rub in.
As for the hot, burning sensation, it lasts upwards of 2+ hours.
It felt like a nightmare at some points!
Some days it lasted over 3 hours and at points it would randomly feel like it was heating up again if I had been sitting for a while.
It’s such an obnoxious, uncomfortable feeling.
I loathed it!

The smell in the jar is super pungent.
It smells like a strong artificial fragrance.
It reminded me of a not so great smelling hairspray, with slight chemical notes surrounding the smell.

When it comes to active ingredients, they put emphasis on these 4 specific ingredients, which are: Pink PepperSlim, Guarana, EcoSlim, and Red Grapefruit Oil.
What the heck is Pink PepperSlim? Well, Maelys states that it acts as a slimming active. They say: “Its pre-lipolytic action focuses on large droplets which sets it apart from standard fat burners”.
That’s literally all they say about it, which is super vague and confusing.
Lipolytic refers to the breakdown of fat but they don’t say what Pink PepperSlim is made of that actually breaks down fat. So this seems like a questionable ingredient.
Guarana is used in this booty mask and it’s believed to contain 4x – 6x more caffeine than a coffee bean. It contains a range of stimulants and antioxidants that may help aid in the fat burning process and promote circulation.
EcoSlim is another inclusion that they’ve seemed to coin and develop themselves. They don’t give the exact ingredients but they say it has a 46% higher concentration than other typical caffeine extracts.
Maelys states that EcoSlim is: “An instant metabolism booster and toxin remover”.
Please take these claims with a giant grain of salt.
Here’s what’s actually happening…
Basically the caffeine and other active ingredients in this cream minimally irritate the outer layer of skin and create a tingling sensation from the reaction of the sub dermal nerve endings.
This reaction causes blood vessels to widen and thus increasing blood flow to that area. The blood is rich in nutrients and oxygen and can temporarily give the appearance of weight loss or a “butt lift” by making the skin tighten, smooth out, and brighten.
The last active ingredient is Red Grapefruit Oil. This oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties in it. It’s thought to help enhance circulation and in turn helping create a fuller, firmer look.
