How do you use Kahi wrinkle bounce balm?

As Australia slowly emerges from the last restrictions of COVID-19, we’ve had some time to reflect on the life-changing rollercoaster of the last few years. Yes, so much of it was terrible, but one of the best things to come out of the pandemic was KAHI, the viral Korean skincare brand at the forefront of one of the biggest Korean beauty trends this year: multi-use balms.

Stuck at home with nowhere to go, the pandemic leveled up our cleanliness and simplified our skincare routines. That’s where KAHI products entered the chat. Their no-fuss, easy to apply, multi-use balms with stick applicators were made to glide easily over the skin, adding hydration and glow, without having to go near our face with our fingers. The reaction? People have never looked back. In 2021 alone, online searches for the KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm went from 100,000 to 12 million. Fast forward to today and over 10 million KAHI Multi Balm sticks have sold worldwide.

With so much fuss, we obviously wanted to get in on the action so read on for our KAHI skincare reviews.

Main ingredients in KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm

The balm promises to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the texture of your skin. Formulated with 9 types of Hyaluronic acids and plant and seed oils, it works to stimulate collagen and restore elasticity to the skin as well as delivering moisture to dry areas. In addition, salmon collagen is added into this balm which works by strengthening skin barrier to boost its resilience against external environmental stress.

Texture

Initially we had reservations about how this would sit underneath our make-up but we found the balm had a non-greasy, smooth texture and delivered a healthy glow finish. Our team at BONIIK found that reapplying this balm was so easy, mess-free and convenient especially when we are on the go. We instantly fell in love with the smooth texture that glides on the skin, even on the more delicate areas like under the eyes and around the lips.

How to incorporate into your skincare routine

If you’re wondering how to use KAHI balm products, the answer is simple. If you struggle with dry skin then we recommend applying the balm to your face and neck as the last step of your morning skincare routine before SPF. Thanks to its stick applicator, it’s super easy to reapply throughout the day for an instant moisture boost and dewy look. The KAHI Aqua Balm (which you can consider as Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm’s sibling) provides sun protection as well as hydration so is a great daytime option if you’re looking for a two-in-one product. If you don’t struggle with dry skin, then it’s best to use the KAHI Wrinkle Multi Balm as the final step of your nighttime routine to seal in moisture.
