How do I unblock a player?

• You can block or unblock someone on your PS4 to manage who is allowed to contact you.
• You can block a user from their PS4 profile by selecting the three-dot menu on their page.
• To unblock users, press the Options button on your PS4's controller while on the Friends page to pull up a list of "Blocked Players."

You can block a player on your PS4 if you find that person rude, offensive, or simply don't want to receive messages from them. And then you can unblock them later.

Similar to the way blocking works for some apps on your phone, a blocked user will be able to send you messages but you won't receive them. You can unblock the user to start receiving messages from them again.

How to block someone on the PS4

1. Open the profile of the person you want to block. 

2. On the person's profile page, select the icon that looks like three dots to open a menu.

3. Choose "Block" from the menu. 

This person is now blocked, and you won't see new incoming messages from them. If they were previously on your Friends List, they'll be removed from that as well. 

How to unblock someone on the PS4

If you're blocked someone but later change your mind, you can restore your ability to receive messages from him or her. 

1. Select "Friends" from the function screen and press the Options button on the controller. 

2. Select "Blocked Players."

3. Select the player you want to unblock. 

4. Select "Unblock."

5. If you want to add this person to your friends list again, you'll need to send them a new Friend Request.

League of Legends can get pretty heated, and sometimes you might decide that you’ve had enough of a particular player’s trolling or toxicity, and you would rather avoid any further confrontations.

In most cases, players will probably choose to mute a player, which lasts until the game ends. However, a muted player can still interact with you (send invites, friend requests, and private messages) after the game ends.

So in some situations, you might decide to just block them outright. That’s fair enough, no one wants to feel uncomfortable when you’re trying to enjoy the game.

But what do you do if you change your mind? For instance, if you’ve blocked a friend who promises they’ve reformed (ala Tyler1) and you want to give them another shot? Keep reading and we’ll explain how you can choose to unblock players in League of Legends.

How To Unblock Players In League of Legends

If you want to unblock another player or a friend you had previously blocked, then the process is relatively easy. Just follow the steps below.

1. Open League of Legends game client and when the game loads, click on the settings icon in the top right. The settings icon is a small cog icon.
2. The settings pop-up will now show, and you want to navigate to the ‘block list’ tab on the left-hand side.
3. Your block list will show you a list of all the summoners (players) who you have blocked on your account.
4. To unblock a player, hover the cursor over their name and then click the ‘x’  icon which appears to the right of them name.
5. Click ‘done’ to save any changes, and afterward any players you have unblocked will now be able to interact with you once again.

Do note that when you block another summoner (player) they will be removed from your friend list, so you will need to send them a friend request again.
