I felt that this potion of immortality is useless, because age isn't freeze like vampire,  we had 3 way to reset age/young current with difference path in order to live longer, now people want stay young forever, they would choice to play vampire or turn age off if they don't want to keep clone, remake, or spend more on reward never ending, Now we had potion of immortality but it's won't stop aging, most wouldn't want forever by elder, but rather stay young forever, I think it's best if sim drink potion of immortality on current age, then it's should be freeze that age current, not by elder at end of age.

In order to even have a chance at making this potion, your sim has to become a spellcaster. To learn potions, your spellcaster Sim needs to have a cauldron at their disposal. Once you are on a decent level, you will be able to create all kinds of potions.

One of these potions is the Potion of Immortality. Technically, this potion is going to stop you from dying of old age. It won’t stop you from actually aging, but you won’t have to worry about old age killing you off.

To make this potion, you need to have mandrake, sage, morcubus, and diamond.

Now just because you want the potion to go well doesn’t mean it will. If the potion does work out your sim won’t have to worry about ever dying of old age. However, if your sim managed to screw up the potion, it will end up into a ghost for 24 hours with a +3 stressed moodlet.

Once this is over, they will turn back into a human. Hey, at least it isn’t permanent! You should be grateful for at least that.
